The ML has a Hulk like poison in his body that flares up every now. He gets into fits of rage and is known to torture enemies in his basement for information. The Female Lead has "advance" knowledge and love for the male lead before she makes herself known to him. Equipped with this enduring love, she is quickly able to break down his stoney walls of solitude and loneliness. He shed tears when he saw how earnest her love for him was. The Male lead in this drama doesn't abuse the Female lead except for some hands on the throat action in the very beginning. Him not trusting her undying love weird ass at first which is understandable. The trusting part, not the "I'm bout to choke you out" part. Anywho. The leads have good chemistry and often play off of each other's cruelty concerning enemies. The FL is no nonsense and faces her battles head on. The male lead trusts, believes, and backs her up. She is there with him when he goes hulk. They're support of each other is chef's kiss. 😍 I will say I also enjoyed the music overlay in this drama. I'm assuming they did that for copyright reasons but some of those new music choices really set the tone for some scenes. Not all of them worked out as you could hear some of the original music but I was still quite pleased. Give this drama a try. Slight Spoiler: (maybe not because of the title 😅) This is a rebirth drama.

This drama was awesome inspiring. I really loved the fated/destined love of the lead couple. They really trusted and loved each other as they should. They were each other's Yin and Yang, and it was enviable to see them face life and death without batting an eye for each other. I really appreciated to non violence and didn't feel any toxicity in their love. The FL was strong in this one. She had a uterus and backbone and knew how to use them. She truly was his cure/antidote, and to see the ML go ballistic to protect and love her as ge should had me with tears in my eyes. I'm so glad this drama exists. I have faith in love thanks to these good dramas after watching so many crappy, toxic ones. Kuddos to the cast, crew, writers, and the people involved in showing us this light at the end of the tunnel. Merry Christmas to all!

However if I saw something like this in my youth they wouldn't have stood a chance 🤣. Im happy and content with ml character here because he draws CLEAR LINE between him and xiao san. Most mls are entangled with first love, friend, sister whatsoever and that's just a biggest red flag for me but here ml is clear as a blue sky. LOVE HIM

I dare say this is one of very best rebirth minidramas I have watched, considering I viewed many in the same genre. Both leads are psychos in their own way(morally grey). Remember in this version, there is no light punishment for villains. It is cold-blooded, dark, and brutal revenge. I highly recommend. Don't know why it does not have millions of views.

Oh yes, THIS is what reborn and revenge should look like! I confess: I like the dark ones, the ones, where revenge really means revenge and not just slapping and screeching, the ones, where there is NO mercy, where the FL WINS over the bad guys, where ML and FL work together and always have the upper hand! Yes, I like those dramas and THIS is exactly what I like: the FL always wins, ML stands firm beside her, both are absolutely without mercy and ruthless. In addition to the great script, the actors did an outstanding job! They had on screen chemistry, a wide range of facial expressions and their emotions were depicted on point - very well done! This went straight to my rewatch list and is in my top 10 of reborn and revenge dramas.
This mini drama deserves the hype. I've watched a lot of mini dramas and even big dramas and I hope this kind of dramas will gross into a box office although it doesn't cost that much. I love Zhao Li Ying and Leo Wu and I stanned them both but these actors in mini drama gave us a roller coaster emotions that I didn't felt on some big budgeted dramas from wetv, mangotv, youkotv.

These are the kind of roles I like and want to see Ma Xiaoyu play more… the “cold CEO” who falls in love and supports/protects his wife. Not the same old damaged, abusive and toxic ML that tortures the one he “loves” bc he’s too ignorant, insecure & impulsive and would rather believe what everybody else says(mainly the obsessed 2nd FL) than his own wife. I get that he fits those roles physically(and visually🔥), but he’s also good at playing warm softer roles too(with a hint of coldness lol). I love this genre of dramas, where we have the ML who is a tortured soul with a very low esteem, and then comes the FL who is practically a ray of sunshine, bringing emotions that he has never felt before, along with some playfulness. I love this moment where the FL fakes being pushed into the pool, acts all coquettish to trap the "green tea". Then the usually serious ML smirks at her saying, "you can open your eyes now. I saw what you did". And she blushes. 😊😊😊 Also the FL continuously surprises the ML with her innovative and ruthless actions, which is saying a lot as the ML considers himself to be pretty cruel. That just goes to show that when a woman decides to be cruel, a man is no match to her.

Even though it was dark I absolutely enjoyed it. This was one of the best mini dramas I’ve ever seen. The main leads and supporting cast were outstanding and the revenge plot was excellent. Both leads were strong, intelligent, and fully supported each other. The couple got the justice they deserved and all of the evil people were taken down. Somebody needs to send this script to Hollywood and hire this entire crew to do a big screen adaptation.
What I like more about this drama is that FL didn't stop in her own revenge. The couple had such a strong connection that she went above and beyond to avenge HIM. She wasn't satisfied just by destroying HER enemies, she destroyed everything and everyone that posed a threat to him, to their family and to their relationship, even willing to sacrifice herself for him. My top favorite mini drama. Ma Xiao Yu acting needs no praising: he's an amazing ML and really fits this cold, ruthless CEO profile.

This is one of my favorites because from the start they stick together and trust each other. They don’t even have misunderstandings because they love and trust each other enough to know that neither will betray the relationship. And also because the kissing is real (hate when it’s all super obvious that the kisses are fake). Also that they don’t torture each other (only other people 😂)

WN: Mom is the BEST tantrum on the floor giver. I always look forward to it when she has that role. They really don't have a handle on how to end a show. Did she find out they had met at the orphanage or did she know from the her past life? I did appreciate an actual revenge setup in this script. They also balanced the romance with revenge well enough. I do think some things came off as a little "try hard" especially with the actors portrayal of characters. I did like all the characters and felt the writer really worked on weaving a good web. It had some of the typical scenes although they strived to be different. I actually thought they were going to pull the "she's the lost child of a rich family" bit, but they refrained. It was my first time watching a "hulk" script and was really glad they made the ML/FL really work together all the way through on this one as I know it could've gone sadistic. My grade is A-tier (an actual eye for an eye revenge story and the FL led in the seeking of it)

Even though it was dark I absolutely enjoyed it. This was one of the best mini dramas I’ve ever seen. The main leads and supporting cast were outstanding and the revenge plot was excellent. Both leads were strong, intelligent, and fully supported each other. The couple got the justice they deserved and all of the evil people were taken down. Somebody needs to send this script to Hollywood and hire this entire crew to do a big screen adaptation.

What I like more about this drama is that FL didn't stop in her own revenge. The couple had such a strong connection that she went above and beyond to avenge HIM. She wasn't satisfied just by destroying HER enemies, she destroyed everything and everyone that posed a threat to him, to their family and to their relationship, even willing to sacrifice herself for him.
My top favorite mini drama.
Ma Xiao Yu acting needs no praising: he's an amazing ML and really fits this cold, ruthless CEO profile.

This is one of my favorites because from the start they stick together and trust each other. They don’t even have misunderstandings because they love and trust each other enough to know that neither will betray the relationship. And also because the kissing is real (hate when it’s all super obvious that the kisses are fake). Also that they don’t torture each other (only other people 😂)

They really don't have a handle on how to end a show. Did she find out they had met at the orphanage or did she know from the her past life? I did appreciate an actual revenge setup in this script. They also balanced the romance with revenge well enough. I do think some things came off as a little "try hard" especially with the actors portrayal of characters. I did like all the characters and felt the writer really worked on weaving a good web. It had some of the typical scenes although they strived to be different. I actually thought they were going to pull the "she's the lost child of a rich family" bit, but they refrained. It was my first time watching a "hulk" script and was really glad they made the ML/FL really work together all the way through on this one as I know it could've gone sadistic.
My grade is A-tier (an actual eye for an eye revenge story and the FL led in the seeking of it)
