I think Frank Rosalino’s improv on this recording is one of those improv solos where if you only studied and really understood this one solo, you would be in a good place. A lot of times we sorta gotta learn the language piece by piece from multiple recordings, and that’s good to do, but it’s not often we can find a one stop shop type of solo. My opinion. Of course I would support studying a blues and rhythm changes tune in addition, but like I said this one solo alone would put you in a good place. 🐬
