How old was the first guy and his "friend" that kicked him without saying anything? Haven't seen anyone act like that past the age of like 12, that was weird af.
You've definitely become my current favorite RUclipsr and it's not even close. The fact you're clearly having fun making these videos brings a raw and authentic feeling to your channel, which I've rarely seen since the OG creators from 8-10 years ago. Not usually making these formal type of comments, but felt like leaving one to help with the algorithm. Please continue making videos:)
Why'd the first guy attack the other guy and then the victim apologize? Edit: nvm found out, guy needs to grow a spine and find new people to look up to.
thank you for making these, do not stop! however much time/effort your circumstances allow you to put into this YT project, is fine. please continue and don't quit!!
I like how you even sit on the ground and chill with the interviewees. 5:24 I usually don't care for these types of videos because they're usually scripted and staged with people the content creator knows, but these are so authentic and entertaining i have to subscribe
im fat and i agree lol it is about self control. it's not a disease that you can't control (there might be some exceptions to that) and it's not something you're stuck with your whole. it is however incredbly hard to develop that self control and change you diet because initially your body is literally fighting it. it takes so much will power to keep going and commit. there are so many social distractions that can try to make you deviate from your diet and exercise. it takes an insane amount of self control to do and it's something that people who have been healthy their whole life won't understand until they're in that position. especially someone like me who has been overweeight since childhood and grow up being fat, it's incredibly hard to have self control and consistency. but i will keep trying and i have lost weight in the past and gained it back so just going to keep trying. and to anyone else in the same shoe, keep goiing don't give up! you're the only one thats in control and you are more than capable of doing it. just don't think about it and just keep going with dieting and exercise! you got it
It's not really about self-control, that's a very limited thing that you can do in short bursts. It's about the overall culture and society you are born in. If you are from USA , fast food/junk food corporations rule your society, and make damn sure it's the easiest thing to get, and to indoctrinate kids into it from as younger age as possible. In Japan, they serve them healthy foods in schools prepared by nutritionists, and healthier foods are more spread out. Of course Western companies have invaded them, and there's the typical fast food /junk food brands there too, but a lot less spread out, and cater to slightly different tastes, to a smaller audience (for now at least, they constantly try to change the culture, to expand their profits) . With multiple other specifics not mentioned, that can be grouped as I said in the beginning of this response "overall culture and society" . The environment makes a person more than a person makes their environment. You are always shaped by the forces around you that you happen to be born into. So what America needs is a societal redesign instead of 1 by 1 expectations of accountability/responsibility for personal behaviors of each person. Since personal behaviors are not really personal, if they are acquired and shaped by your environment. Healthier values in USA do exist in small pockets, so if you can get to live with/be influenced by these people , you would have a better chance than attempts at "self-control" . Change in your environment in short. Effective self-control, is change in your environment, and said environment will control your behavior. Just in case I'll mention this last , "environment" doesn't mean just objects surrounding you, like buildings, trees, cars etc. . Other people that are not you, are a component of your environment. Basically anything that isn't your body or 'you' , I group under "environment".
How you interview people should be up there on specific lessons on making an interview session interesting. keep up the good work Julian! very entertaining
I love the energy you give off in these interviews, you can't help but laugh along lol I hope we bump into you during my honeymoon to Tokyo in late October! My soon-to-be wife and I watch all of your videos :)
bro i randomly stumbled upon your video and got taken by surprise by how funny and entertaining this video was. definitely subbing. also, your channel reminds of me of filthy frank, which is wonderful since i loved his content.
Your channel is very fun! I watch it, here in Brazil and even though I understand all the dialogue, I find the way you interview people funny. Congratulations on your work!
As a current big boi American i gotta say, i was once my weight i am now, i wasn’t happy with myself, so i lost 70 pounds through diet and exercise. Got down to 170, my ideal weight, and guess what, i still wasn’t happy with myself. Since then, got a desk job, lot less time, no motivation to cook most meals and end up eating out most nights despite a healthy breakfast. Then covid hit. Gained 30ish pounds pretty quick. I have a poor relationship with sports/ Americans who play sports. Maybe if i had friends like these athletes maybes id be more motivated, maybe id be happy with myself. Or maybe i think we all take ourselves too seriously and we are a bit too hard on ourselves. I think America is fundamentally broken in a lot of aspects when it comes to public health and access to healthier food while also not having much agency over what little time we have / can afford to grab.
6:14 bro is getting bullied💀
Hazing akin to American college frats
If he is able to talk about it like that and laugh around, I think it might just be friendly banter... i hope at least.
@@rationalrama I mean...It's just not true. a lot of bullied people act like everything is ok, same with people in abusive relationships

Yo that conversation with the guy making his yakisoba was amazing. Genuinely the best clip of any of this series
The baseball man needs to get better friends. He seems chill.
The guy with Yakisoba seemed like a genuinely great guy, dude was enjoying Yakisoba and WASN'T DRUNK in SHIBUYA, so you know
