I love Aquaman, but he's kind of an asshole in Injustice (though still more likeable than Clark, Wonder Woman, and Cyborg). And he's kind of a meathead in the Justice League movie (from what little we've seen).
Can't we just get the vastly underrated New 52 Aquaman who just wanted to eat his fish and chips and be a cool guy, without the surface world and Atlantis whining at him all the time?
As a huge Aquaman fan, yeah I agree, New 52 Aquaman was awesome and didn't get nearly enough credit. However Aquaman is a brilliant strategist and tactical genius, hopefully we see that part of him in the JL movie.
To be fair the new movie Aquaman doesn't seem to have come into contact with Atlantis yet given that he's just bumming around saving people and taking whiskey.

I don't know if this is an r/unpopularopinion but I prefer the injustice Aquaman over the Jason Momoa Aquaman. I love Jason Momoa and I thought Aquaman was a pretty good movie but I just love the more serious Interpritation they went with in this game.
