Thank you so much for writing to me. The lagotto can be a tricky dog for a first time dog owner, a good breeder with solid knowledge of the parents' temperaments is a must! As with all breeds the most important factor is that the dog is a good fit for you and your lifestyle. Lagotti are working dogs so they need activity! As for Buckinghamshire, there are plenty of chalk soils, Chiltern Hills etc. so I would say it's an ideal place really!
