I have been watching the first half of the livestream what I get out of it is that first step in solving a problem one has to realize that there is a problem.Even if I don’t have a problem when it comes to being in debt at this time. But the temptation is always there( although I have been keeping at bay )and it will take over and ruining your life if you let it. Whatever setbacks you have in your life Phill I’m sure you will overcome them, right? Have a good day 😊👍❤️
@@thelastmoviestanding 🙌🏼🙌🏼 I’ll keep my eye out for it. See if you can sell me on the upgrade ! I did hear that the extended version of the movie is on the 4k disc only, the blu ray allegedly remains in its cut form 🤷🏼♂️
I actually tend to mainly get my boutique films during sales. There's a few I will pick up soon after release though I picked up Mary Shelley's Frankenstein on 4k on sale as it was the same price as the blu ray (£17.99) also picked up Oldboy to replace my DVD copy
@@AlexGreat321 always better if you can hold your nerve for the sales. There’s a few titles though that the FOMO really hits hard on. I just can’t always resist that pre order. I’ve not ordered any of the arrow titles yet, hoping to have another look when the hype has kinda gone and see if I feel the same way about ordering. Ideally at least half I should wait for standard editions or the sales.
@@cyphersigma1 I’ve still not ordered any 🤷🏼♂️ I’m sure I will, just giving the hype a chance to die down before I decide. That criterion sale in November though, got a feeling there will be some purchases either with that.
I am pretty much over collecting stand alone films on Physical Media But I still seek out well remastered versions of series that are of interest to me.
@@trevormaurer3684 I’ve certainly slowed down on the individual releases for the newer releases. It’s the older favourites getting re released that suck me in… and then of course my ‘director’ collections that I seem to go hard for..
Phill isn't set up for 4k, but haven't you been buying and showing 4ks?? Future proofing? Can't believe Glenn hasn't seen The Cell. You guys worked at Blockbuster.
@@MoviePalaceOfBlood yeah, future proofing pretty much. I did intend to be switched to 4k sooner but… i worry about the kids with a nice TV, they were pretty young and sticky finger prints on a nice screen worried me… so I held off. To be honest, this week I’ve been looking at new TVs for the living room. I’ll be there very soon I think. I have a 4k tv in my office, that’s just awaiting me upgrading the PlayStation to PS5. I think Glenn actually bought the Cell on digital when it was on offer a few months back… and he still didn’t watch it 😂

@@lippmb78 there’s always help out there. I think the difficult part for many is reaching out for that help and admitting to potential debt issues.
I will probably be doing a Nightmare 4k side by side this week

@PhillwithadoubleL smart move to wait that's what I normally do
