I think when the accident happened David and the others thought it would just be an internal affair that Jeff would forget about, but when Jeff went public with it and started ripping on David (deservedly), the vlog squad turned on him because they all liked David and couldn’t cut him off because of what he did to Jeff. David should have done more and should have consequences, but he’s also the reason the vlog squad members are as famous as they are, and if Jason, for example, cuts off David, his audience will be gone in weeks
Jason is so scared to say something "wrong" about David that he for the most part dismisses Jeff's side, this is awful
David needs to understand that shit is hard but you gotta deal with it

I feel bad for Jason but this situation is his own making, he doesn't want to hurt Jeff more than he is already and he can't disappoint or go against David. You can see the fear in Jason's eyes answering these questions.

Agreed. It’s a matter of values IMHO. Jeff got on that machine and yeah, that was stupid. But David was the ringleader who built this culture, he was the one who thought a prank using dangerous equipment was OK, and he was the one who didn’t know how to “react” when Jeff was hurt. That last point isn’t an excuse, it’s symptomatic of his own narcissism.
Howie really messed this one up. His Co Host was really getting to the nitty gritty and then Howie changed the subject.

From this clip, this interview sucked. And the interviewers did a terrible job. They did no research and it was just uncomfortable to watch.

I can understand both sides of the story, Jeff wanting more remorse from David, David not knowing how to reach out and handle talking to Jeff. I still feel David should have reached out no matter what, he should have manned up and checked in on him.
