Tony not receiving his title fight during his win streak is one of the most disappointing things in MMA. I know shit happens but come on
a lot of people say he doesn’t beat khabib but i honestly think it’s a nightmare matchup, tony’s my favorite fighter and i still think khabib would win but if anyone was beating him it’s tony
@@matiascockaldoodle i think in the first 2-3 match ups tony was a serious problem for khabib, after that he was dealing with injuries and just didn’t look the same i think pre knee injury he was a legit problem for khabib especially off his back, khabib would not have been used to attacks off back, tony’s elbows are razors, and his mindset was to make them bleed as much as possible. i think the last 2 fights they tried to make khabib would have won tho
He was champion to me. Rankings obviously don’t matter and anyone could lose at any point, I considered him the very best during his crazy run.
@@MTBJJ2001 exactly! Pre knee injury Tony vs that Khabib would’ve been close.
@3Spooky and if it was pre ufc 209(when khaib wasn't dieting as well as he could've) I would've favored tony
After his Vitor loss, Rockhold went on a seriously nasty run
Agreed. He was unstoppable
I was just about to comment that. People seriously overlook him because of his fall from grace.
TRTor was a force of nature to be fair
@@MTBJJ2001 that shit ain’t nature, it’s the science of cheating cowards
@@MTBJJ2001 trt Vitor in Brazil 🇧🇷 no less.
They straight up didn't give a fuck
"Those guy's chins are made of Max Holloway" legit made me blurt out in laughter. Great line.
This was a very hard one to narrow down (which is why there is 15 entries and we could probably do a sequel video in the future still!) and very hard to rank haha but it was a lot of fun going through these awesome runs again. Hope you guys enjoyed!
I'm usually one of the loudest about Cerrone's "legend" status being more about his persona and attitude than actually being an elite-tier fighter. But I have to admit, you are right: going 12-1 from 2013-2016 definitely checks the box of shredding a division. Great video man, keep it up!
How is Vitor in the top 15 but not Adesanya?
I miss you Tommy Toe Hold so much!!😢
Just like to make a correction, Brabo choke is actually called D’Arce choke. Sherdog for some reason uses brabo choke even though that choke is used in gi BJJ, where you need to grip your opponents collar.
@@phobosex7504 I was so sure Izzy would be 1 when I hadn't seen him up until the 2nd entry. Blown away, 6 in a row on his way to Whittaker and then smashed him as well. Only video of theirs I've seen where I was shocked by the exclusion of someone xD
Max Holloway winning 13 in a row?…
Was just about to comment this . Max run was better than most of the fights listed here. Maybe the best .
Max took years of those guy's lives
How bout Jon jones never lossing
@@KeyleanMusic_you forgot to say “THE GOAT” 😂
Yea but none of them were against me
Oliviera’s 11 fight run was also top tier. Dude beat Ferguson, Chandler, Poirier, and Gaethje all back to back. All finishes except Ferguson who j isnt human idk how his arm didnt snap off
Tony Ferguson is the type of guy to break his own arm before a fight, so his opponent can't break it.
Definitely agree 💯 one of the greatest runs thay will probably ever happen #DuBronxEra
@@gtrrzrecordshow is it an era lol
@@willieb.haardigan8984how is it not an era lol
@@willieb.haardigan898411 fight win streak. Are you gonna connect the dots or you want to be spoon fed?
Olivera's run was amazing too
Cerrone on his welterweight streak was a sight to behold too, that combo vs Story was just pure beauty
New Dad Cerrone was giving everyone problems and I was so stoked to see it because people were starting to write him off. Unfortunately, Tony and Justin put an end to that
Chael Sonnen shredded through middleweight so many times it’s insane. From his time in the UFC, to Bellator & how can we forget his legendary performance in Hotel Hallway FC 😮💨
Damn Izzy vs Costa was such a big fight at that time😌
It was a masterclass by Izzy but I was kinda sad that we didn't get a more competitive fight cuz I was so hyped for it😅
One of the biggest surprise fights for me. I thought Paulo would have something. He did not.
That was also the last time izzy was entertaining
@@coldestbeer ?????? Are you really suggesting that his fights vs Pereira weren't entertaining????
@@coldestbeer so you just didn't watch either of the pereria fights?
@@coldestbeer I also like saying completely dumb shit for fun
Miss you, Rumble. RIP, legend. 🙏🏽
It is crazy how fast people have seemingly forgot about Cowboy's run. Tony will never be matched
Cowboys run was pretty fun to watch (his second run i guess). But it was also against cans more or less
Never say never. You don't know what the future can bring in any division. But Tony's run is for the storybooks.
Francis run at heavyweight was truly remarkable. The way he was knocking out everyone and even submitted a guy. His fight vs Stipe was textbook annihilating and fought on a bum knee to defend his title
Nah, it was ok but that loss to Stipe via pure domination and the next fight with Lewis ruined everything before and after
@James Doe Exactly. Not to mention, he fought the over the hill versions of Cain and JDS.
@@dudeman3973 well put. He was at the perfect place at the right time.
@@dudeman3973 Stipe’s career was over the hill guys. At least Francis beat blaydes gane and Rozenstruik
Jones and Pavlovich could've beat ngannou
"These guys heads are made of Max Holloway"
Greatest MMA on point quote ever
Fighting prime Tony Ferguson is like running head first into a wood chipper. 😬😬😬
fighting prime Tony Ferguson is the equivalent of chasing Kyle Rittenhouse with a skateboard.
Izzy's run to the title was pretty insane super hype at the time aswell
Even that he got mauled by Holloway in their fight, we need to admit that Ortega had really great run to that first title shot !
Ortega is overrated Dana wanted to take advantage of the Mexican market so he pushed Ortega now we are seeing he's not champion level
@smallworldz7241 his only losses were to the two greatest of all time in the division and to an injury against Yair. And let's not forget Volk was never in trouble in any of his fights like he was twice against ortiz. He's a monster that unfortunately is in the same division as max and volk
That bonk sound effect with Ngannou's first knockout in this video makes me laugh every time😂
I love the love Tony gets on this channel 💪🏾😎
JDS is my all time favourite fighter. Nice to see his career getting some love.
Matt Brown 2012-2014
TKO Chris Cope 1:19 Round 2
UD Stephen Thompson (who was undefeated in MMA and on a 6 fight winning streak. He then went on a new 7 fight streak to a title shot)
TKO Luis Ramos 4:20 Round 2
KO Mike Swick 2:31 Round 2
TKO Jordan Mein 1:00 Round 2
KO Mike Pyle 0:29 Round 1
TKO Erick Silva 2:11 Round 3
Then lost a title fight in a 5 round war with Robbie Lawler.
Damn I think I’ve caught the last 12 MMA on Point videos within 30 minutes of their release. That’s mainly cause I was watching MMA on Point beforehand most of the time.
Tony is a ducking legend man 😢
Tony Ferguson, i never forget your run! Favorite Fighter, CSO ❤
another great video love what the channel has evolved into
HAHA T-R-Tor. Good one. Expected to see B.J. Penn on this list. His 2007-2009 lightweight tear was a bloody, violent run.
"Okay, they're not finishes but those guys' heads are made of Max Holloway."
Two more video ideas guys 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
-most legitimate interim belts
-best performance bonus' won by decision.
God bless fam, surreal to see 1m subscribers, was here around 40k subs 💯 much love man, appreciate you always givin Tony his credit
That’s one of the best videos your team has made, brilliant.
The Troll II clip was phenomenal. Thank you.
Prime JDS was just pure, beautiful violence! ❤
Yeah his run was the stuff of legends. He was always on the lighter side for heavyweights
Thiago alves just before gsp when he was knocking everyone out was just a sight to behold
“Those guys heads are made of Max Holloway” 😂
Absolutely brilliant lol
rumble only lost to one man at light heavyweight. he was truly a menace in that division
How DC survived that overhand right still amazes me to this day.
Thank you for another video really love them
Tony vs Pettis one of the craziest fight i ever seen
Glovers story is amazingly crazy but good in the end. He found a wife in America and got sent back to where he was from, then tried to get back to America, got caught and held for months and it took years for him to get back to America to be with his wife.
My boy Bobby knuckles smashed the division lost his belt then smashed it again absolute legend
Then got fucking smashed
Literally let out the absolute shredders of divisions in Khabib, GSP, Cormier, and Jones
Chad Mendez vs Michael Chandler would've definitely been an all time classic.
As someone who recently has got into mma and the heavier weights it was amazing to see Glover on here he was a warrior and still trains poatan really cool figure in martial arts
Harold Howard ripped through ufc 3. That damn ninja cop snuck in the last second
never ever been so frustrated as when anthony johnson was initiating grappling exchanges with DC almost immediately in their rematch. i honestly considered if he was doing it on purpose and trying to lose and prove a point or something
Matt Brown and Jacare had good runs. Matt lost to Robbie for the title, and somehow Rockhold leap frogged jacare for the title
Commentary was next level. Great job
No Spider? That man walked through his division, went up one, walked through the challengers there, came back down, and walked through his division again. The man cross-countried MW. Ha
I love this channel. Always making me laugh
"Those guy's heads are made of Max Holloway!" Single greatest line ever. Ever!
Such an amazing Chanel
“He would NOT get the real one,…” *casually shows Gaethje out from a choke* 🤣😭 4:18
Matt Brown had a good run back in the day
Saying Rumble KO'd Bader in the 1st round is a massive understatement. The only thing that kept that from being a snuff film was the fact they were wearing shorts.
2:22 "he was not" 😂
Cowboy Cerrone is my fav fighter. Sad when I have to describe his accolades to current/younger fans, during hid downfall
I love all the MMA OP guys, but damn. Tommy's the GOAT. That includes most of YT
JDS is getting the respect he deserves
"those guys heads are made of Max Holloway" is probably the best line i've heard in years.
Thank For The Video 💞💗👍😍
Those heads are made of Max Holloway! What a line, brilliant! 😂
Anthony "Rumble" Johnson "Sent the guys tooth to the International Space Station!!"
😂😂😂
Bones run at LHW is of course an all timer, considering he beat all of those legends at such a young age and beat multiple guys on this list including
TRT-Tor but people never give him credit for beating that version of Vitor. Vitor fought Jones and Bisping like 3 months apart or something
Banger Mick Foley shout out
Jesus! I was working out and watching this video! I was doing bicep curls and busted out laughing when he called Dennis Siver tiny Brock Lesnar! 😂
12:31. "Those guys heads are made of Max Holloway" lmfaooooo
10:52 Love your humor❤😂😂
Big props for giving Cowboy his flowers
Big 💓 For rumble Johnson Will never forget you Warrior⭐ ⭐respect⭐⭐
"Their heads are made of Max Holloway" made me cackle more than a throwaway line should've
Love the Tony respect
I've heard about and watched ufc before but never thought much a out it. It was JDS that actually pulled me into the sport
Valentina cleared the women’s flyweight division before her latest loss
'Those guys heads are made of Max Holloway' is one of the best lines I've ever heard
Great 👌 video
Wonderboy’s welterweight run after the Matt Brown fight was also insane
thiago alves would’ve been a good shout 7 wins kos over multiple guys including matt hughes
I'm sad for Tony like so many others that he never got the actual belt, sadder still to watch his decline after Justin and for people to easily forget about him (while this video does him some fairly solid justice), even more sad for the CURSED fight that never was with his nemesis Khabib, and then at least thankful that he has given us so much stellar entertainment at the cost of his body and mind. I really hope he ends his career on a good note, or at least a decision loss. I also hope he got his due vengeance on that electrical cord, his most dangerous enemy!
"Those guys heads are made of Max Holloway"
That's gotta be the best freaking line I've ever heard. Ever. So much lol
“Those guises heads are made out of Max Holloway” 😂😂😂
you guys should do videos about the fighters like "everything you need to know about this fighter" telling about the life , history, fights etc. in the same way donut media those with cars.
RIP Rumble
Oooooh. 15 entries.
Nice.
Jon Jones run up until the Santos fight was fucking terrifying.
11.17. absolutely pissed myself 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Their heads are made of Max Holloway😂 good one
never been this early lol congrats on 1M!
this shit was funny asf bruh keep it up
Johny Hendricks on his way to fighting GSP is always the run that sticks out for me, not only did he beat Condit, Fitch, Koscheck and Kampmann but he was sending guys to the shadow realm, that left hand was incredible!
Max Holloway
TKOd Will Chope (KOTN)
Submitted Andre Fili
TKOd Clay Collard
KOd Akira Corassani (POTN)
UD’d Cole Miller
Subbed Cub Swanson (POTN)
TKOd Charles Oliveira
UD’D Ricardo Lamas
Won the interim title against Pettis (POTN) and went on to win the undisputed.
9-0 with 7 finishes and 4 POTNs, and went on to win the gold and defend it three times.
Izzy also had a spectacular run, only lost when moving up a weight class and lost his belt to Poatan only to reclaim it back
Always love some Tony Ferg respect🫡
"But their heads are made of Max Holloway" 😂😂😂
Finally some respect for Cowboy! 🤠
"Heads are made out of Max Holloway." 😂
video on most unconventional fighters
I thought you were going to add "The Kiss" from Yoel with love Luke
JDS and Carwin were my favorite heavyweight runs
Tony had such a nasty run dude
TONY WILL ALWAYS GET HIS ROSES FOR WHAT HE DID!!!!
Gotta shout out the gate keepers that make these guys great. Shout out Derrick Brunson and Tavares
hey tommy got one for ya: best/most interesting facts about southpaws
