ive got a GUARANTEED way to close the gap INSTANTLY ...take your eyes off your opponent. They will close that gap before you can get your eyes back onto them, works every time 100%

I like this! I’ve encountered some Savate kicks from Jun Fan, but I love exploring them more!

Bruce Lee used a lot of Savate techniques, the moving sidekick is the one that stands out.

And many more technique besides. Theres quite a lot of correlation I've found. Footwork, kicking, combinations. I'll dive into it further in the future. Thanks for watching

@@Dr-Grayson I'm very glad to find this. I'm into hopping for sprinting. Look up Chari Hawkins a skip b skip. This is how sprinters train now, with alternating one foot hopping.
Savate kicks are variations on b skip.
Have you ever done two-footed using your kettlebell swinging in order to generate the force through your legs to jump and not using your legs to jump? So you can actually jump with your shoulders not your legs and swing the kettlebells to generate the force for a standing broad jump. I do mini hurdles 2 and I throw a javelin with my strong side and my weak side.
I also do salsa dancing look up stepflix salsa. Footwork is the master key to athleticism.

Thank you so much for saying so I appreciate you weighing in. I have in fact done kettlebell exercises along the lines of what you're describing. My fridays are actually set aside for weight training and general strength and conditioning I'm a big believer in it. Dance is also no joke for footwork education, I've done a bit of swing and it was quite the challenge. I'll have to look into that a skip b skip you're talking about. It's always interesting to see how different forms of athletics overlap, I look forward to learning about it.
