I'd love to see an episode that shows absolute newbies to electronics how they can get started and which projects are easy enough to tackle early - while still being fun and give a sense of accomplishment.
Like the mini project - it gives a nice change of complexity - and to see Jesse coming in for app work again. Collaboration videos might take longer, but the back and forth is fun.
Actually that was from the visiting Engadget crew. They were taping as well and had several people and equipment there. In such a small space it is hard not to catch a glimpse of some of it.
cool project. however the app could use a tweek. add a "point" system so you can add or subtract points for duties and the points determan where the pointer is.
I really like how you made this project and showed us step by step I really would like to know how you did the code as well but thanks and your doing a great job :-)
Thought this was great, I went a different direction with mine and also added a thermal printer to print the child's rating! I have just uploaded a video on it!
I have put it up on my blog in case it doesn't get posted, search google for colecagos blog and it should be my first post. I haven't had time to document it or anything, so um, good luck :-)
This show produces too much quality content for the boom operator's shadow to be seen at most times during the center shot of the desk. Just constructive criticism.

That piano joke was grand.

Wow compared to his other projects this one is a walk in the park...must be a nice mini project to give himself a well deserved break.
Actually that one was either a BlueSmirf or Bluetooth Mate from Sparkfun which uses the RN bluetooth modules.

all you have to do is sync up the android app to santa's phone instead of your own and then you're golden.
Best show ever
You should add a camera to this so it would be even more like santa is really watching.
It would be cool if you could have made the pointer bounce a little like an analog volt meter.
