- I stayed at the wonderful Holiday Inn al Khobar - Corniche. During my time in the Eastern Provice, I explored different places in Dammam and Al Khobar. In this video you will see:

Non-muslims ARE allowed into mosques, whoever told you otherwise probably didn't know. (Makkah and Madinah are exceptions)

I used to work in Damman City for more than 3 yrs and i really miss the city so much. Those summer and winter days walking around that exact area where you roam around corniche and downtown markets is the place where i lived😢. I really miss walking and take short break to the food stalls nearby.

Non muslims are allowed to enter the masjid....... prophet sallalahualaihi wa sallam hosted thaqeef tribe in masjid e nabawi while they were still non muslims.... the guy who did not allow you does not seem to be very literate with islamic knowledge and ethics

It's nice to see tourists in this part of the country. Most of the tourists only go to Riyadh and Jeddah without giving Eastern province a chance. If you're open to recommendations, I highly suggest you get a ride on khaleej road. The road starts from Dammam Cornish to Qatif Cornish. It's a nice road with great landmarks on each side. Please feel free to contact me for more information about the area. I will be more than happy to reply asap.

Dear tourists,
Best city for tourism in Eastern Provence is Al Ahsa (Hofuf).
Khobar and Dammam are beautiful but fully industrial and commercial.
Al Ahsa (Hofuf) is rich with history, culture, and friendly people. It is the largest palm oasis in the Middle East. 1.5 hours from khobar & 3 hours from Riyadh.
You will find different UNESCO world heritage sites there. An old Souq with so many handcrafted products, Forts that were built during the ottoman era, a pottery museum next to a uniquely-shaped cave, old schools, beautiful farms, many activities near the mountains. You can even rent your own desert camp or your own small farm for as cheap as a hotel room and throw a bbq party 😎.
If you’re still in the eastern Provence let me know, I will personally give you a tour of my hometown.

accordingly saudi do sleep in noon and then came out in evening till late at night if u r out almost at midnight you will find saudi younger ones will be out sitting at pathway along side road having tea. i liked that video

you've miss some place in dammam.there is a restaurant and a museum on the 2nd floor.you did not visit marjan island and ride the boat along the coast of dammam..in khobar there is also a night street foods area..and the sand dunes of halfmoon beach .you can also ride atv .buggy and paraglider in halfmoon sand dunes.. and since your in khobar. 2 hours away is hofuf for its mountains and oasis and al uqair beach... and from dammam its 1 1/2hour to jubail .jubail also have good beach and sea port and can ride a boat on jubail coast

come to tabuk.. it is the cooldest part of saudi,
where on winter time, it os the only place in saudi where you will experience a snowfall in the mountains of tabuk,. jist check the weather forecast to see which day is the cooldest and for sure the mountains are filled of snow.. enjoy😊

Dammam is an old city and more conservative than Khobar. However Khobar is more westernized and lots of people of different nationalities and restaurants. Khobar is more tourist-friendly in all of Saudi Arabia. 👍 Thanks for sharing your tour.
