I own this car and it's so great that I never get tired of it and have no desire to change.
Now this is what you call interesting Alpina made some really cool unique versions of existing 3 series Non M engines before the BMWs turbo era. I think this 3.4l is based off of the M54B30 a nice middle ground between a 330 and M3. Love it
