Love how are the courses lend themselves to individuals on this game. A lot of people struggling on torrey pines but i found the quick running fairways and the greens that kill the ball on impacting a lot easier to deal with. Ended -15 i think and came 8th in my career here.
Key to those short three footers is to hit em like you're Tiger. Leave no doubt and smash it in to the back of the hole aiming for about double distance to hit through any break and aiming for slight break on anything questionable but rarely outside the hole.

Loving the pga tour content. Personally I've been really been enjoying the game although pretty challenging with the difficulty turned up. Only thing I've learned is that chips kill, high flops from me basically all the time 😂
Dear god do I hate chipping with a passion 😅 with some luck it doesn't roll much even when I have it set at the shortest distance.. or you're like on the fairway again 🤣
@@deadlyangel6668 yeah I've gotten better with the chip shot after much practice but like you said setting up your chip short is fucking crucial.
would love to see you go back to full rounds, especially with you still getting used to the game it will keep the rounds interesting before you become automatic and get super low scores. love the content as always tho🙌🏽

So many struggles with the greens at this course. I'm -5 after two rounds (simulation settings but with full wind and distances info). having a lot of fun, though!
You had any issues with career freezing? Mine won’t let me go past a certain tournament round. Stuck!!
Chambers bay was a nightmare to putt on. Finished in 2nd by 1 stroke on tour difficulty.

I feel like the edges of the holes should be tweaked a little. There’s plenty of putts that should fall in the just run right over the edge but don’t have enough speed to keep it from droppin irl
You can change your ball marker - you should have a few to choose from already from the pre-order pack (US Open, The Open, Masters etc)

You'll enjoy Pebble. I play full 4 rounds in Career. I'm a little concerned though, it got too easy. I have hard settings too and shot a 58 round 2 and a 60 round 4. I really hope it's not gonna be this easy this soon. I added some specs though which definitely makes for more birdies

I downloaded the game today and played a few of the rounds before the full game loaded and it was purple did that happen to you?
I can’t get a fast swing speed; I’m always slow. I’ve played around with it so much and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, and theres no driving range
Just starting plying today it’s really hard considering this is my first golf game but enjoying it I just don’t understand how to put like I’m no where near the hole 😂😭😭
I’m a causal golf gamer but used to 2k. Never owned a EA sports pga game and it’s definitely a struggle. Have to use the putt grid and adjust your shot. Turn the putt preview thing off. It’ll only confuse you.

I’m really struggling too, I haven’t made a single cut in career mode. I think once you upgrade your character more there is more forgiveness in the swing
I think the challenges actually get harder as you move down the line because the under armer ones massively hard

How do you turn playing partners on for career mode?
I believe it's in the tournament settings. You can get there by pressing Y or triangle button before starting a round.

Love this game, my ONLYYYY beef is what you experienced at the 20:30 mark.. you can never tell what the green speed is gonna be and it seems its always concrete... then when you play the roll it just sticks . ..
Hard to tell without the green grid on but maybe he landed that shot on a down slope

A lot of the times now I'm not even getting anymore rewards from the tournaments, missed out on at least like 6-7 rewards >_>

Yes it's bugged for sure. Getting my rewards mostly the next day playing. What's also weird is that even if I'm on the upper ranks on the final leaderboard, let's say one ore two behind the best score, it displays missed rank. But when getting the rewards finally, they're based on the correct ranking like winner, world ranking etc.
@MediaMonsta79 noticed the same thing with the ranking. Finally got my rewards for the tournaments bout 7 hours after I should have received it lol bit annoying but luckily the shop still had the same items no clue when those change 🙃
Difficult course. I won my first event here finishing -15 by 1 shot on tour settings. I found the front 9 a lot easier than the back.
I just got booted from another career championship for being +10 after 2 rounds. I can’t get the ball to stay on the green. I like a challenge but this is ridiculous. I can see me gettin fed up with this game soon
Surprised you didn't have to wait 3 minutes every time Cantlay was up to hit...would have been ultra realistic

Really enjoying this game, but I am struggling BIG TIME. Doing a pretty immersive playthrough (playing all rounds with AI pairing on the final round) and I am struggling Currently at +5 at Torrey Pines right now possibly gonna miss the cut, but really enjoying the learning curve with this game!

I wish new golf balls replaced the EA one in the spin indicator in the bottom right of the screen. Also, the rough are laughably long, they should be shown about half as long as they are. I would also like to see any put inside 1 ft just tap in. No one in real life marks a ball that's inches from the hole, they finish out and get out of the way. I also agree that short AI putts are real bad. no one should be missing 5 inch puts because they try to hit it 6 inches. That is really all I have to complain about the new game, On the whole, I really enjoy this game it should be better with time like any game does now.
The ball not replacing the EA Spin indicator is such an open goal missed! You pick a Pro V1, you can barely even notice it.

Anyone having an issue where the career mode won’t advance?
They need to fix the tap in feature for the AI. Even the auto tap-in seems broken. The AI actually missed a one-foot putt when playing with them. Don't know why the camera/aim moves so much for the tap in.

@Tommy P yes. Once you make it to the pga tour, you can turn on AI pairings for all four rounds or for the last round only. I ended up turning it off because I'm inpatient and trying to get the rounds done as quickly as possible. Plus the putting glitch gets annoying. Shouldn't take that long for a tap in

Ur putts turn Cus ur tempo is way off, can’t have fast or slow, gotta pay attention to the tempo with putting
This game is really good, but when people will get better I hope it won't become too easy. I won my first Pga tournament by 4 shots, Torrey top 10, and now leading with score -20 by 11 shots after two rounds in Pebble. My AI is 88 and shooting realistic scores, but I am already looking for my second victory and playing with the hardest settings 😂

I getting the feeling 2k is better. The swing analog swing is stupid it's either to hard or to soft. They should of put it to where you could play like the old Tiger games but no they had to compete with 2k and try to make it to realistic. The putting g is horrible too in this game. They better patch this shit.
