Love watching career mode, great to see you progress slowly- I think keeping difficulty tight will give this more longevity and an interesting narrative.

The career mode is actually really good. Able to upgrade your clubs is a nice touch and the abilities is real good I’m glad I got this game it was worth it

This is the hardest game for me lol I can swing straight but I still can’t hit the ball straight for shit. 4 hours zero perfects and the best I did on pro is +23 lol first golf game in 8 years. I had to put it on beginner to get passed the amateur qualifying event. There’s also a glitch or something on the back stroke where it won’t pull the club back. I need practice for sure. I could probably golf on real life easier than on the game or maybe the same lol
Nice to see the highlights that miss the hole are still in here. Once I saw a Poulter highlight where he was on the bank of water hitting his 5th shot to the green and apparently he made a 1 on a par 5 on the leaderboard WTF
first round at st Andrew’s I chipped it in from the sand for eagle lol… came very close to hole in one on the 16th par3…. Landed it two balls away and stopped on the edge of the cup… one thing they need to fix is the outfits for each day. I’m not liking that at all. It’s not letting you use what you have setup for each round. The scoring thru 4rounds is jacked up some. I was on the 4th round and it was saying I was still on the 2nd round. Overall they got some bugs to fix but I’m loving this “the golf club” game… graphics of the courses is a lot better and the swing stick is very good
Why are women in the PGA tour in career mode?? Better to wait for 2k24 and add in the LPGA just like NBA 2K has WNBA. Honestly this will stop me from purchasing unless fixed. Surely it's a glitch?

Women playing and in this video, BEATING the men in a tournament is just dumb. I assume she was playing off the men's tees too? Sports games are all about immersion into your career, franchise, whatever. Imagine playing NBA 2K and Skylar Diggins winning the NBA Finals MVP for the Lakers. It's just dumb and yes, will prevent me from purchasing.

My feedback is to keep power house, but equip items that help your swing path and forgiveness. Also my feedback is that song "Glorious" song you sing is interesting. You've combined two songs into one, and the word Glorious is not even the word used in the song... very interesting.
I can’t play my career mode anymore… for some reason it stopped working… played a few events on korn ferry tour than for the championship the course won’t load. Anyone else have this problem so far? I can also play local matches with the playable characters but when I try to do a round with my created player it doesn’t load either.
Graphics SO MUCH better. I'm gonna start grinding tonight. I created my player after midnight last night, my golf bag, apparel etc. I don't like red so I bought a nice Nike bundle black and white golf shirt etc. Can't wait!
One thing I'll definitely be doing on my career mode is replacing the fake courses with user created courses based on real ones. It'll be a tiger woods 2005 homage.... Pebble Beach, Harbour Town, Troon North Monument etc... it'll be real.
I don’t play anywhere near the difficulty you play on @TheApexHound but I am also really struggling with swing timing. Everything is grey fast. So frustrating!!
Yes, I've always felt raising the difficulty of the course conditions but lowering the AI difficulty to begin with is right, but going forward, stick with these course conditions & swing difficulty for the rest of the way in career mode instead of readjusting them later as scoring is very realistic & resembling scores on the real PGA Tour in real life, not TGC Tours reality where you need better than 10-under every round, but only adjust the AI skill difficulty if necessary depending on how competitive you're against them to keep the realistic feel from now on.

Try the 3 click swing system. You might like it more. Even on harder difficulty, getting the timing down is easier over all but putting is a little harder on getting the right distance and power percentage.
Appex your honest opinion has the game chanced enough for me to consider buying. Do you know if tournaments can still end in ties? Is single player society back?

In all honesty 2k23 isn't impressing me. It's kinda nice they've got an old TW style with the player skills but i can see it becoming an issue when everyone is maxxed out. Might have some really uneven games. Like if you play alt shot and both of you are accurate around the greens, but the other two drive it 360 and can put 9 irons into greens instead of 6's. 2k21 everyones equal. They gave us crap like Top Golf and Basketball players. What we really wanted was a 'medium rough' option in course creator.
All for having women in the game and playing a LPGA tour, but having them in the same events as the men and winning by 6 shots is just silly. I want my career mode as realistic as possible.

@@WdawgSmith there’s barely any customisation for clubs & clothing compared to 2K21 the player models look goofy as fuck the lighting & shadowing on the game looks dreadful the gameplay actually somehow feels way worse the putting feels hit & miss the graphics somehow manage to look worse my commentator sounded like he was in a bubble echoing from the minute I loaded the game up .. It’s genuinely a joke I couldn’t justify the price of the standard edition let alone a £100 + for this joke and then there’s content creators who clearly know it’s a fucking mess but are trying to sell it because if they don’t they’ll fuck their relationship with 2K but I’m sorry if I was a content creator I couldn’t have that on my conscious recommending spending money on this thing let alone buying the special editions considering I’ve played from the golf club 1 till now HB Studio has lost all my fucking respect they’ve ruined what was once a brilliant golf sim.
