my guess with the frame rate would be that the spike strips are physics objects, even though they're locked down, so the game puts a lot more stress on your PC when your car is interacting with like 7 of them at once
At 10:25 The reason you're getting wheel spin is you're not in 4wd, that buggy probably has locking hubs, which don't have keyboard shortcuts by default.
Edit: 12:15 Slow and steady is worth trying.

Looks like Neil channeled his inner Gray for some of the challenges.
Still want Gray to come over to BeamNG and get someone to make him the challenges like Alex does the ones for GTA V. I don't play either of those games as they just don't really attract me but BeamNG is just a whole other level of Gray's torture - That probably won't come true though, so it's more or less a dream that that would happen.
Gecko is the vehicle with the biggest wheels? You're forgetting the Wydra with mudmaster wheels.... which is kind of a 'cheatcode' to many of the obstacles in this. :3

Also the challenge with the spike strips look pretty scary, especially the last set! Popping the tires probably wouldn't be the only issue for a vehicle driving over it ha ha 😅
