- It's Adam Koralik here and today we're traveling to Bolingbrook Illinois, a suburb of my home town of Chicago. Why? We're going to check out the opening of the world's first CosMc's restaurant location. CosMc's is the McDonald's brand spin off created to compete with Starbucks. Let's go!

Normally another “Starbucks” place wouldn’t get me excited but man, as soon as they open up one of these around here I’m going in with a list like yours. All of those sound great! 🤤
appreciate the review of this place! given how crazy popular it seems I'm definitely hoping they expand... get us a california location near us and we'd totally be down. wife's a big starbucks fan so I know there's gotta be stuff she would be into.

It is so strange to see you driving. I’m so used to seeing you as a passenger. It’s also strange to see you willingly go to a McDonald’s lol The lines remind me of when they opened Sonic in NJ. They needed cops to monitor the lines too. I find it kind of funny that they have the Cosmc’s next to the McDonald’s. It was nice to see how positive and upbeat all the workers were, despite how absolutely chaotic it is. It takes a lot of customer service time to be able to go through that chaos with a smile still. It’s mind blowing to see you enjoy McDonald’s.

Well isn't this a surprise Adam Koralik going to McDonald's owned Starbucks clone. Looks like they have quite a few snack options to pick from. And a decent selection of caffine/fruity beverages. Oh yeah, and always good to see the lovely Mrs. Koralik.

Oddly enough, the location was a former Boston Market which McDonalds owned for a brief time. Also, as a Bolingbrook native, I used to go to that strip mall all the time, specifically Disc Replay. It opened around 2008 and closed sometime in 2018. Lastly, CosMc made an appearance in Mc Kids for the NES. Go get your copies today!

Is it abnormal for IL not to have snow this time of year? Just curious. There's no snow down here in TX. It's really great the wife was there as partner in crime for the first round. Obviously nobody would be silly enough to do a round two or the merry-go-round, except us weirdos. lol
Depends on the part of the state. Illinois is huge. As for snow in the Chicagoland area, it's both normal to have snow, and not to. Chicago is nuts.

Mc cafe is huge in Australia. We get told here that it started in Australia. Dont know if thats true or not. Wonder why it didnt work there

Big in europe too, has some nice pastries too like macarons.

No really, Sonic is for burgers and shakes and they bring food to your car. This is more like a drive through Starbucks.

I found this little adventure intriguing. Honestly I am surprised it isn't called McCafe since they popularized that name, or tried to at least. But an even bigger shocker was all the positives you said about the food. Does Adam finally like some garbage food? Remember, just because a person likes it doesn't mean it's good food, it just means you like some garbage food. And most of us do like some sort of garbage food.
mcafe is still a thing here in europe, wierd they didnt do that in the us.
