- So...after much anticipation of receiving my case (which I LOVE now btw) I had an issue after I unboxed it. I go on and on thinking out loud in this video (please skip if you prefer shorter straight-to-the-point videos). The question still remains (watch the video to see). Please let me know if you know for a fact which is what.

I love this dark brown it looks so lux! I thought I wanted the black but now I am debating between the two.
I think both is good, the leather is so buttery smooth.

Hi Michelle, thanks for watching! It was easy to fall in love with the leather. It's buttery and has gotten softer already. Can't really go wrong with a TSL product.
oh ... yeah, the color is a little darker. And also, the case won't fit that many pens! I am disappointed. thanks so much for sharing! I was thinking of getting one... :/
The leather has to be broken in and now it fits all the pens. It's still a tight fit though. I'm using it to store all my inked up pens. But this is also be used as a wallet. Pens on one side and cards in the other. I think I would have went for the Galen ones to specifically store fountain pens if I didn't buy this.
You know, I don't know if Wonder Pens adds an additional filter or takes their photos with weird lighting but I completely relate to being shocked by the colour difference QQ I especially noticed it w the Kaweco 60s swing fountain pen...mint green vs sage green LIKE WHAT LOL
Hmm that's strange! But now I try to google for alternative product shots before purchasing any large purchases especially TSL leather items. Mint Green and sage are sooo different! 😳
Maybe better for smaller pens or tools (ruler, tweezers, scissors, stickers or it’s ok for leather to stretch too as it ages. I tend to like my items better after it gets worn in. SL does have several different browns : dark brown, light brown/camel and nude. I do think it’s lovely and I hope it grows on you.
Yes, it did get so much softer and is much more forgiving with more room for pens on both sides. It just had to be worn in. I didn't see a nude one when I purchased but I do see they have it now. I have no issues with it now :) Thanks for watching
I had the same problem with the "brown" in my order from baum-kuchen, too...my "brown" case from baum-k is/was DARK brown despite the pictures looking much lighter. And there is/was a lighter brown out there, which is what I wanted and expected. It's since been clarified to be listed as "dark brown." I was disappointed as well - but naturally it is so pretty (and too much hassle to return) I just kept it. Sigh...
That's unfortunate. Hope you have gotten more used to the colour.
