- In more post-election drama, former President Jacob Zuma is turning to the courts to try and have the election set aside because 9,366,000 votes are allegedly unaccounted for - and it wasn’t “fair and free”. But in this interview with BizNews, Dr. Michael Louis of the Independent Candidates Association says he has looked at the court papers, and that there are “no specialist audit reports, there's no specialist electoral support, just a lot of speculation”. He does not believe the application will succeed. Meanwhile, he is calling for the Electoral Act to be totally revitalised, also in respect of the way the President is elected because if President Cyril Ramaphosa is impeached, it could imperil the new Government of National Unity if the GNU doesn’t accept the new President nominated by the African National Congress (ANC). Dr Louis also shares his views on how the new Cabinet might look, and explains why he sees South Africa as a “speedboat” - and not an “oil tanker” - country.

You are correct in saying that Adv Mpofu seems to be acting for MK. Mpofu is also Chairman of the EFF - the dots are connecting.

How is the voters rights weak.
The IEC has a duty to appoint independent auditors to investigate the allegations. All that needs to be assessed is whether the allegations are of such a nature as to be considered worthy of investigation.
The political parties are not necessarily adequately funded nor equipped to conduct forensic audits.
IEC can not appoint independent Forensic auditors to investigate the allegations in its institution or within the commission it can not select who to investigate it but an independent board must be put in place by parliament which in this case I believe DA and ANC won't support......but that must be the way to go.
But the results were audited by Grant, and Thornton, you can't just make extraordinary claims without extra ordinary evidence. Even whistle blowers for crying out loud are expected to produce evidence which is proof for their claims to be investigated.

If the DA along with MPC would have gotten a majority for sure investment would have flowed in from day 1 likely. Right now GNU is in the beginning so it will like take a few months for the dust to settle and we know who is playing where. If the GNU can settle in and DA gets some solid positions (like infrastructure and finance for example) then I believe investments will come and interest rates will lower.

This is blatantly misleading.
There is only the current constitution, not the constitution.
The people that wrote the constitution built in the possibility to change the current constitution so there can be improvements made as our so called democracy that hinges on the right to vote was young and rushed.
Changes to improve and upgrade the current constitution is super important if we are to progress as the Republic of South Africa. Note we are NOT the democracy of South Africa, in fact far from it.
In our constitution there is an oxymoron. It states that South Africa is a multi party democracy.
This is why the only democratic thing we do is to vote for the gangs that now run the laws of the land to enable more looting of our resources and our tax money.

Now I have never heard MK say the want to do away with the constitution in the way portrayed here.
They have many times stated that they want to change the constitution which to them is improvement whether you agree with those improvements or not.
I want to promote the changing of the constitution to upgrade our electoral system. I am vocal about this and promote directly electing our leaders.
To me that is not throwing away the constitution. It will greatly upgrade our democracy beyond just voting for a party after which you have zero recourse for what they do.
Our constitutional system is clearly flawed and many upgrades are necessary.
To me the most important is the fact that the state has the right to protect your life, not you.
This is insane and in line with the UN's Agenda 21 and 2030 which blatantly remove our personal freedoms in the name of protecting our lives and future.
If this is too complex for you to understand then maybe unfollow me and move on.
I want to find more people that have the IQ capacity to understand the immense global freedom threat we face.

The President is elected by National Assembly which consists of 400 members of Parliament. Usually parties put forward their leaders as Presidential Candidates.

1. The president of a party cannot be the President of SA as it is a direct conflict of interest. Should a party nominate their leader to be a presidential candidate, that candidate will have to resign from party duties upon successful election to the Presidency.
2. South African's should elect the President through a democratic voting process, instead of the decision being left to Parliament.
We always acknowledge that there is no perfect system and that any proposed method will have both advantages and disadvantages.
What we want to achieve is to draw closer to a purer form of democracy that gives people more power.
This is just one example of many of the changes we see pertinent to implement..💚

How do you make that determination when you have not seen the evidence from MK? I think it's premature to dismiss the MK and like 2024, we are still going to see a lot of surprises moving forward. The DANC coalition is very volatile and can explode into pieces anytime. MK is not COPE and their intelligence is at another high level. Undermine them at your own risk.
