Omg just learning this is crazy! I have Ashlesha (just found out my Vedic chart) and I am year of snake in Chinese zodiac and learning this is so spot on. I have Venus in Ashlesha pada 4 in Navamsha chart & I am this person. I used to like gazing people, then I found this is big stupidity & got humiliated for this & left it now. Gazing thing happens to me automatically in high energies in temples and places with high energy, it makes me like that then I have to be conscious of this thing. Yet now I know this is BS trying to do this to people. People do not like it. I was volunteering in a temple, and automatically started gazing the visitors & then realised people instead of focussing on the deity will focus on me, which is not good for them nor me. But, I don't curl & sleep. I sleep straight. And get up in the morning in same way. Also, I used to do all this trying to judge people through eyes, I try & control this now unless I am in a totally unknown site or unsafe place. They’ll have some degree of aslesha but other things in the chart must be seen. Plus, Venus tells us the nature of the relationship/marriage and how seduction works between you.

And AFAIK, the 7th house in one's chart tells about one's partner and nature of relationship with them. And neither does Venus tells about one's partner for women. For a women, Jupiter is told to be seen to see their partner.
I wonder since snakes have poor eyesight, do any of Venus in Ashlesha natives spouses have some problems with the eyes? It's interesting, the opposite nakshatra is shravana which is in the constellation of Aquila, the eagle is known of their excellent eyesight (eagle eyes)
