As satirical as this is, when you actually look into the lore and realize how many bullies there actually were in the Jedi temple, and how bullied Anakin actually was for being different, and just how complicit Obi-Wan is in the bullying and making Anakin apologize anytime he stood up for himself, you really watch this in a different light
I think Obi-Wan’s intention was to show Anakin that he shouldn’t stoop to the same level as the people who were bullying him. And, being a Jedi, he shouldn’t care what other people thought of him anyways (at least in Obi-Wan’s opinion). It’s one of those take the moral high road situations. But obvs this doesn’t necessarily stop people from bullying you.

Oh man. That actually hits me hard. I don't know if that's intentional or not but that's a really interesting point I don't think I've ever truly thought about before. Anakin's gone from being a slave and having a master, to actually having to call someone Master on a regular basis. 😮 In important ways Anakin's still enslaved...at absolute best he's gone from being to being in a sort of indentured servitude, where he's being told he can't even just have a normal family life.😮 Can't see his mom, hell his mom hasn't even been freed and the Jedi are just looking the other way on it. You're supposed to be the protectors of the Republic and you can't even get the issue of SLAVERY right, either for yourselves or others?
In the philosophy of Anakin's tragedy, he is living the stoic philosophy line of "how can any man be called free, if his passions rule over him?"

When you think about it, it almost certainly was. Anakin was told that he was the chosen one from the day He entered the temple, and then relentlessly bullied by fellow apprentices and chided and belittled by Obi-Wan over the years for how he just wasn’t good enough, and he wasn’t living up to expectations and he needed to be better and he had to be more mindful…… Anakin had a bad case of imposter syndrome, where he was expected to be the savior of the universe, but Obi-Wan would never let him feel like he was doing well enough to meet expectations…… which explains why Anakin tried so damn hard to overachieve all the time

The meta-joke unfortunately is that if you get into the lore the Jedi were toxic to Anakin, he was bullied relentlessly by many of the other padwans in the temple and Obi-Wan really didn’t do much about it because he was too inexperienced.
Anakin Grew up with an imposter syndrome, because he was told from day, one that he was supposed to be the chosen one, and Obi-Wan didn’t understand how to turn a nine-year-old into the chosen one without just constantly chiding him, and trying to force him to be better no matter what .
The kid went from his mother telling him that his tinkering and fixing broken things around the hut was wonderful, and how great it was when Anakin did something right, to Obi-Wan Kenobi, who probably didn’t tell Annie and he had done anything correctly until about five minutes before he left for the battle with General Grievous.
