This is perfection. I hope Spyres and Brownlee are in an opera together someday, they have a wonderful rapport and blend beautifully. Also, the pianist is fantastic. 👏🏻
This is pure FUN! Michael seems to have an absolute love for Lawrence, an admiration of his ability to hit those (How the Beethoven d'ya do that, mate?) crazy high C notes with apparent ease. Favorite part..., when Michael just becomes a Fan @27:26. Admiration and Love! Beautiful.
@@elchinosanchez2018 Michael Spyres is a baritenor rather than a tenor. He started as baritone when he was young, and then developed the higher notes that belong to the tenor tessitura because his teacher insisted he had a tenor in him. It's also true that his high notes are rather colourless and lack the manly sound he produces as baritone, if he were to sing Almaviva's part, he wouldn't sound the same as singing Figaro. Furthermore, his spoken voice is not that of a tenor at all.
Delightful, so beautiful listening two great musicians. Lovely performance! Thank you! What a joy listening! ❤️❤️❤️💖👏👏👏👏 Thank you for making this possible for us! Grateful! Amazing 🤩
Magnifica conjunción de técnica y estilo .Sus voces prodigiosas, bellísimas y expresivas nos transportan a mundos mejores y elevan nuestro espíritu,qué maravilla escucharlos !.gracias a los dos, bravo !
A tenor, Michael Spyres, is a first for me singing the part of Figaro as a baritone. Wow the Otello duet!!! Such talent and musicality from both him and Brownlee!! And wonderful accompaniment! However when I think of Figaro I cannot help but think of Louis Quilico who sang the role at the Met, often referenced as Mr. Rigoletto in reference to the Verdi opera.
Agreed, as well as in this video guys in recently NYC concert were outstanding, though Michael caught a cold. But the pianist is MUCH better in this Italian concert. Nevertheless, bravi, guys, you are the best. Waiting for your new Rossini recordings.
Baritone is closer to his natural voice than tenor for sure, but excepting the relatively bland high notes (above A4), he can produce very good music. It is likely however that he ends up dropping tenor roles as he matures (AKA when he's past his prime) and stays in the baritone range.
Por que tenga una voz grave y pesada como la de u baritono y no significa que sea baritono el es un tenor o no an escuchado la voz de un tenor dramatico oscura escucen a giacomini giusepe o a mario del monaco y so tenores
Qual gioia ! Allarmi ! And Brownlee just goes up up to the sky ! And Spyres smiling at him ! That's opera ! I love them !
We really live in the golden age of Rossini tenors
This was so good to watch. Two of my favorite singers and the incredible Julia Lynch!

they work so perfectly together. What an allegria !

Beautiful.
Wonderful duets from two excellent tenors (and as baritone Mr Spyres). Superb work!
Bella pianista! Excelso Ragazzi!
Comme cela fait du bien, des chanteurs qui ont à la fois la voix, la technique et le style !
Their duet is a complete touch of class
What range Michael has! Wow what a voice! This is such a treat, my favorite modern tenor with my favorite modern baritone. This is my dream.
They 2 are tenors

Not enough thumbs up to give! This is incredible, their voices blend so well and their artistry is impeccable. Immediately bought the album
They are both fabulous in their own way......
So refreshing to hear Figaro's coloratura sung cleanly in the Barbiere duet for a change.
Bravi tenori!!!! tenore e baritenore coraggiosi!!!!!voce non ingolata
EXTRAORDINARY! WHAT A JOY!
Michael mentioned in an earlier video that HE STARTED OUT AS A BARITONE, thus the natural heaviness of his voice, but he's professionally a tenor.

Великолепно. Молодцы. Мужики.

Yes, indeed. He reminds me of Gaston's voice from Beauty and the beast.
