This is such a beautiful snowflake. The way you have designed the pop stitches remind me of little hearts, it's really stunning. Thank you so much, can't wait to make one x
Beautiful snowflake! I know I'm cutting it close to Christmas(only 3 days away😮) but I'm making these for my MIL, she leaves her tree out all year long, she'll love these ornaments!🙏
@@JonnaMartinezCrochet hey luv, the tutorial and pattern are both lovely.. by any chance can you give instructions on how to turn this applique into a granny square or hexagon??
I’m really happy to hear this Liliy1999 . Yes, I have a pattern and tutorial for the blanket using a hexagon for this snowflake. Here’s the tutorial: Stella's Snowflake Blanket | How to crochet a blanket w/ Stella's snowflakes | Hexagon motif blanket ruclips.net/video/punkyZxjDW8/видео.html The pattern has extras like the border and half hexes: www.etsy.com/listing/1091200812/
Hi Betsy! I’m so happy you found my channel and liked this snowflake. This snowflake is named after my horse! Give your dog Stella a pet for me! Thank you for watching and commenting!
When you use light colored yarn, could you use a dark colored background. You won't have to use your had to show the way it looks and it makes it easier to see what your doing. Thanks!
i stopped at start of round 5, round 4 was really rough for me because of the many double crochet going into a small single crochet that almost didnt have enough room for that many doubles :S still turned out ok for my first made one
Actually thinking on that myself. If I come up with something I’ll be sure post here or my blog, www.jonnamartinez.com Thank you for watching and commenting.
Hi Jonna, I bought your pattern and have made a number of Stella's Flakes, I want to join them all to make a lacy type of blanket. How would you suggest I join them? Thank you, Joan.
non parlo l'inglese e nemmeno lo capisco, ma grazie all'ottimo video sono riuscita a riprodurre il fiocco di neve, che è venuto benissimo. grazie per aver pubblicato questo tutorial
- I see that a lot of people are going to make a blanket of stars. I agree, that would be beutiful but if I were to do that it would take at least a year!!! 😃 So I think I will make stars to out cups or glassen on and then continue with hats, legwarmers and shawls. I wonder why there always is too little time to make presents for Christmas? Best to start in june next year! 😃🥶🇸🇪
Podrías poner en el vídeo a medida que avanzas el punto a seguir, cuantas cadenas, etc. Para las que no sabemos ingles. Te agradecería mucho. Gracias, Saludos
I was doing great until you got to the Picot stitch. The explanation was rushed for someone who'd never done those before. I've had to re-do my work several times and it still doesn't look correct.
I’m sorry it seemed rushed. It’s single crochet chaining 3 and slip stitching back into the side of the sc. that’s all a picot is. Thank you for watching!
@@JonnaMartinezCrochet Thanks for the explanation. And thanks for all your beautiful patterns! I downloaded one of your patterns off Etsy, still working on it!
of all the videos you've created, this one was the most unclear your video wasn't zoomed in far enought and you did not show exactly where the sticthes went. you kind of left me stranded trying to rewind and find out where the repeat starts.
I had no problems understanding it at all. With that being said, I believe this is not a beginner tutorial. Intermediate or advanced. writing out the instructions helped me when I was a beginner. Happy Crotcheting 😊
I just made this using a 4 ply cotton thread and a 1 mm steel hook. Your instructions are easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing!

The only way to make it bigger if using bigger yarn and hook. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I can’t do This 😩 I’v tried 3 times now, don’t know why! I have done a LOT of chrocet But This Got Me 🤥
I’m sad Because This is just SO beautiful 💗

That happens to me too. I Hear ya ! 😗
We have all been waiting patiently for your promised (months and months ago) video on how to join these snowflakes, are we going to get it?
You are! Life is busy. But I do have everything written out and half of my blanket finished. Thank you for commenting again! Don’t give up on me ❤️
@joanMargaretWells would you be interested in testing this pattern? If so please message me on my Etsy shop JonnaMartinezCrochet
Hello! The tutorial for making this into a blanket is now here! Thank you for patiently waiting!
Could this be sewn to a granny square if so what size square ?
It would be. What ever sized snowflake you make.
You can make this in any yarn so that will determine the size.
Thank you for watching!
Podrías poner en el vídeo a medida que avanzas el punto a seguir, cuantas cadenas, etc. Para las que no sabemos ingles. Te agradecería mucho. Gracias, Saludos
💜💜💜💜
❤❤❤
❤️
How do we reduce the size of it
By using smaller yarn and hook. You could make this micro by using thread.
Where is the white snowflake pattern?
This is it. I just used blue yarn for the demo.
Can you make a slower tutorial

This video goes way to fast at the end on round 5!
