One of my favorite seasons ever, especially in the Champions League where we beat Tottenham's North London rivals Arsenal in the Quarter final's until our disappointing defeat to Monaco in the Semi's which I still have fond memories of...

Why can't anyone spell 'favourite' properly anymore?

@@vinnysamways63 it may interest you to know, there are few words that's the American/British spellings. And "Favourite" is one of them

@@peaceandquiet - well it can be, when American culture is transported to an English one. Take our dates for example. Over here, the order is always: days | months | year. That's clearly a logical sequence. But Americans instead go for months, days, year. That causes huge problems and could even be dangerous. Imagine if someone wrote to you saying your car needed a service on the 12-03-20 to stay in warranty. In Great Britain, that would be the 12th of March. But in America that would be the 3rd of December (or December 3rd, as they say). The spellings just add to the confusion: colour, favour, organisation, are English ... color, favor, organization are American. Try telling the French it doesn't matter to have another nations language adopted. Their 'authorities' aren't happy about people using 'Le Weekend'. And why are some saying our gardens are now 'back yards', and bonnets are suddenly 'hoods'? A 'hood' over here as everyone knows, is the roof on a roadster.

He had all he needed to be an excellent forward in English football, but his private life was quite chaotic. He was 24 yo and immature. He continued to be immature even after he returned to Italy in 2005, following the cocaine scandal with Chelsea. There is a feeling in Romania that he was a huge talent who never fulfilled his potential, although he was one of the Fiorentina and national team's leaders. At 41, he is now the coach of the Romania's under 21 national team and still appears in the media with issues from his private life.

@@keyuantejohnson6266 Romanians generally support a lot of clubs. I would say Chelsea are not the most popular, maybe Manchester United and Liverpool , even Arsenal, are more appreciated in the English football. However, from what I see on football forums, Italian and Spanish clubs draw heavy passions, with Real Madrid and Barcelona on first places, then Juventus, Milan and Inter. And then there are the domestic clubs, FCSB, Dinamo, Craiova, CFR Cluj and so on, who enjoy good national support.
