They're doing what they did with Loki. The original plan was 18 episodes (Loki was 12) but then they decided to split it into two season instead. Fiege already said season 2 will start shooting early 2025

I'm hyped for Daredevil Born Again!!! Where the hell is the trailer??? are they gonna release it on Christmas Day???
As far as I know, it wasn't Chapek, it was Feige that didn't want to connect to the Netflix series. From what I read, the Netflix series, they were planning 5 seasons. Sadly, it was cancelled after 3 seasons. So, the logical thing to do, would be bringing everyone back. Not just the cast, but everyone that worked on the show. And do seasons 4 and 5. Finish the story. But Feige didn't want to. He brought 2 of the actors, but he wanted a reboot. He wanted to put his own spin on the character. A few episodes in, they realized that it wasn't working. And then they scrapped everything and started over. They brought the rest of the cast.
Yeah I really prefer not to see it front and center. I really wanna watch and enjoy these shows but I opt out when something likes to employ blatant visual shock value.
I feel like people won’t buy this because of Echo. They hyped up that show as being the MCU’s first big jump into TV-MA. And that turned out to be the the most pg-13 tv-ma show I’ve ever watched. We shall see.

I couldn’t watch the Punisher Netflix series. The violence in Daredevil I could handle, but the Punisher was too much. I hope Daredevil didn’t ratchet it up to Punisher levels, given that Punisher is in the series now.

It's all about story telling. People swear they saw Janet Leigh getting stabbed in Psycho when it's just a series of very effective camera cuts.
Violence is also a tool for storytelling, in case for the DD show is part of his identity
