I love how they played a subdued version of the Isenguard (I hope I didn't spell it wrong) theme when you first see Saruman. It foreshadows what will happen in a matter if only 60 years. Completely blows my mind at how close the events of The Lord of the Rings are coming to pass.
Gandalf when Galadriel shows up: Yay my girlfriend’s here! Thanks Elrond! Sauraman: Yo! Gandalf: *GodFuckingDamnitElrondWhydYiuInviteThisShithead* Heeeeey! How’s it going boss?
Actually I think at this time Saruman was already bad. He just wasn't open about it and was trying to cover up any information about the ring so he could look out for the signs himself.
Well, what is not mentioned in movies is that Gandalf has one of three elven rings too. Galadriel has white, Elrond has blue and Gandalf was given red by Cirdan, leader of elves in Grey Havens when he came to Middle-Earth. Although, Galadriel is one of few Noldor (high elves) who remain in Middle-Earth and were born in Valinor, maybe even the eldest high elf in Middle-Earth. So, that might be reason why he was answering to her, alhough at full powers she is nothing compared to Olorin (Gandalf).
He isn't. Elrond says it isn't him he must answer to, but he never answers him with whom he must. They look at Galadriel because she is there, but it is really saruman who he must answer to.
the movies dont really explain it, but sarumens greed corrupts him a few hundred years prior to the events in the movies, and he secretly searches for the ring for himself.

0:21 Bombur's head: "I guess even the smallest impact can have a big difference."
Six hundred thousand types of epic distilled into thirty seconds. That is all.
this was when saruman was still a good guy

Actually she's more like his student, a little sister that frequently ask about the toys that you just make.
The Real Kings Of Elves Thranduil Or Elrond

1:05 Shouldn't Galadriel bow to Gandalf? I mean he's a Maia and Galadriel is an elf...
Gandalf is a Maia but not in full power, while in this form. Also Galadriel is one of the most powerful of the ancient elves
Gandalf is more humble than that.
Sauruman is a doubter as usual, and a fool.
Its silly that they imply that gandalf was answerable to galadriel, why in earth would he be.. hes sort of a god and shes only an elf
dude she is way more powerfull than gandalf. she has a ring and shit

Also she was (is?) his girlfriend at on point. They had (have?) a thing 😉

gandalf is a simp
I'll post a common youtube-comment;
I saw this movie!!!
I saw the hobbit first but I didn't realize saruman would turn evil why?

Have you seen the 3rd hobbit ? It's sorta shows more foreshadowing of sarumon turning dark
hmmmmm, not so sure now...
Or WAS he?
