There's something hidden in the background for you Mr B. Someone said it's the rule nowadays to mention you in every RUclips video? I thought I'd do it discreetly 😉👌.

I have the exact same meter and case. I got the case after watching one of your vids. I have the same bits and bobs inside the case plus batteries and torque screwdriver. Keep them coming James and glad you've kick started the channel again!
Thanks James, you've convinced me to buy the Kewtech lamp adaptor set, spent to much time upside down on a pair of steps trying to get all 3 probes on terminals 😆
Welcome back😊 I love my kewtech KT65dl a lot easier than my meggar. A great tool that does what it does and you don’t have to have a masters in physics.
Nice to see you back was wondering where you had gone. I have used the Kewtech 63 since I started some years ago. I found Alan at Kewtech help line very help full as there were no videos a few years ago. I'm thinking of up grading my MFT to the Kewtech KT65DL, so thanks for running through it in detail.
Wohoo.....the boss man is back. Good to see you back - nice haircut and you look noticeably healthier and younger if that was possible. Nice tester well designed and intuitive. Nice add-one as well.
Great to see you back mate! These are great testers, don’t get enough credit in my opinion I’ve got a KT64 and a a Megger 1720 and I prefer my Kewtech, it’s such an easy to use little tester and never let me down. The RCD Results on one page are so handy. The light mate kit is great for EICRs👌🏻👍🏻👏🏻
Beck is back! And with a sweeeet test-rig! Yeah, those soft-cases are gash and I've no idea why Kewtech, Metrel, Megger et. al. think sparkies want to put one of their most expensive purchases into such when Fluke show the way with rigid boxes. That Magnusson beast looks solid though. Good to see you spaffing out new content again!
Nearly identical gear to me lol. Love my KT65DL. I have the light kit, the PAT test converter, the Proving unit, Leads, Crocodile jump leads, but i carry mine in its original canvas bag, along with my fluke clamp meter, and breakout boxes. Also.. That silver touch pad on the panel measures the potential between the operator and the tester’s PE terminal. A message“PE HiV”is displayed on the LCD with the audible buzzer if a potential difference of 100V or more is present between the operator and the PE terminal at touching the Touch pad. Great to see you back James ;-)
I use the same meter. I like how they've arranged the dial in the proper sequence of testing ops. It's a small thing but it's a neat touch. Did you ever do a video with the full suite of testing that you mention?
Nice vid mate I'm a local boy and was surprised to see your video of a rewire you did on Ashley Lane a while back, this was the area I was brought up in . I went to the college behind that job and also to the Primary school at the end of the lane just to mention though when you start making additions to the rig you will need to put the tails from the supply into the top of the isolator and the board tails into the bottom, I know it looks really neat but the supply tails always go in the top as they can be pulled out if something heavy falls on them, sorry if you think I'm nit picking but for such a good job you would want it correct, wouldn't you? Cheers and keep up the fantastic content
Hi there, yeah I know the area well and I've seen it change alot over the last 20 years. Thanks for spotting the isolator and the cable route. It makes sense for the reason. Hey we learn something new every day 😀👌.
I may be commenting on a lot of your old video's and that Savery Blokes video's but,I'm just trying to share the knowledge I've picked up after being in the game for nearly 40 years now. Hope you don't mind. I'm not the video making kind of fella but if I see you at the Elex Bolton Arena,I'll stop and have a chat
J Beck Shed training. Sweet. Good to see you back online dude. Two things. That Jack needs less coke and my only gripe with my Megger MFT is the tie straps. The buggers are always coming undone, I like the clip on straps with the Kewtech. Cool test rig as well, Mr perfectionist. Tails on a plug top are they? haha
Great video James. I’m looking to get a new MFT soon, and this has been very helpful. Have you always used Kewtech, or did you jump from another brand?
You saying you don't throw those plugs away. I do the same. Bizzare. I don't do anything with them except occasionally insert them in the ends of test leads/clips. Strange 😂
the DL means "Down Loadable" so it saves your readings on the meter and you can save the data as a job lot from memory to your PC. It uses a supplied opto cable to connect to your PC.
I’m not a fan of the kewtech strictly because I don’t like the look of it. Pathetic I know. I do however like kewtech products in general, they make all the best test accessories! also, your null box, you could just link out all 3 terminals and it can then null whatever combo you want 👌🏼
He’s back 🙌🙌🙌

Haha any more Jack and I wouldn't be able to upload the content 🤣. The tails are very temporary until I can get a more permanent hook up to the shed.

If you need another couple of inches it does the job 😉
Great video James. I’m looking to get a new MFT soon, and this has been very helpful. Have you always used Kewtech, or did you jump from another brand?
I've used several different MFTs over the years, including some of the analogue fluke types back in 2003!
😂 I'm exactly the same trying to work out what is best to say at the start of a clip. Except takes me about an hour !
Took me 4 months 🤣.
Great your back good little vid i like your plain speaking on the job good rig you got set up
How do you do a psc with this tester? Which ports do you need to put your leads in?
Great video. Where did you get your null box from!? Super informative video though! 👍👏
