I wasn't sure at first if it was an enemy giving advice or the Rogue, it was about the level of advice I'd expect from him

He is acting like a vanilla ranger. “I need my favored terrain.”
it's actually kind of sad too. Favored terrain is just favored enemy, but for terrain. while it's probably the most powerful set of bonuses in the game at a theoretical +10 minimum to attack and damage (damage goes higher if I remember right and there are bonuses you can choose)... it's a really crappy ability. "Guys, i gotta go run out into the blizzard. I have better attack stats there!" while suffering from impaired vision (blizzard) and impaired projectiles (heavy weather)

“You are not the bard, now get over here” me the current bard in my campaign who is far to fragile to do any physical damage and can’t take a hit. I felt this on a personal level.

also me in our previous campaign, lol. For the longest time, my bard was so squishy someone could have breathed wrong in her general direction and kill her that way. (Somehow, she lived.)

If I ever get the chance to be a player again I am definitely going to do some kind of fighter/caster and use a sword as a casting focus and pump it like a shotgun even for spells that don’t require a physical action.
if it exists in DnD , there is a class for that in pathfinder but I can't place the name. They're basically "masters" of combat that seek out any source of information, whether martial or magic.

I don't think they need Druid, they have Wizard who managed to grow old on a channel where wizards typically die of 1d4 whatever damage. He must be incredibly powerful.

Speaking of that meme, it should be bumped up to 1d6 now that that is the Wizard's (and Sorcerer's) HD.

I'm a loxodon Circle of Spores druid and I am the second tankiest player normally after our barbarian, and the tankiest when my wild shape is active 😂 such a fun subclass race combo
My druid is based on Avatar the Last Airbender. She started as Air, so you'd think she'd be like Aang, though I made her personality Kyoshi (even before reading the Kyoshi books). But she's basically been Korra cuz she just keeps dying and almost dying... Talk about druids being squishy!
I got an Earth Genasi Druid and it's been really fun! it's a semi-homebrewed world where I'm like the only existing Genasi and Mom "died in a bandit raid" leaving me with my normal human father.
Ah yes, imagining being invincible only to end up as Korra. All that power and somehow you still end up crippled after every fight.

My group has a changeling rogue that can’t change when people are looking at him, mostly to make it harder to cheese most things. But it’s been really funny whenever he changes.

me and my party beat a challenge rating 15 drow today when our party of 5 had a highest level player of 5
CR isn't balanced at all. We've had a 5 2nd level PC party defeat a CR 8 ankheg brood queen in our 2nd or 3rd 5e session. Ever. Total newbies. Action economy gave us a huge advantage with just higher numbers.
