I genuinely didn’t feel like ww2 zombies was that bad. I played the final reich thoroughly and got both the easy and hard Easter eggs and I had quite a bit of fun doing so
@@vex9139 There are 2 easter egg endings and the easy one is doing the main objective (quest) it tells you and fight the boss while the hard one is alot of steps after you get to the point of being able to enter the boss which the game doesn't tell you what to do.
It feels like a lot of people blindly dislike it it and then can't give the strongest reasons as to why it was bad. It's different, but not horrible. Basically if it isn't BO3 zombies, it's bad.
The thing I always really liked about WW2 zombies was the creepy atmosphere. Treyarch Zombies used to be like that throughout World at War but from BO1-BO4 it lost that creepy and scary atmosphere. I hope with BO: Cold War they bring back that atmosphere maps like Nacht, Verrukt, and Der Riese had.
Idk man, I think Kino der Toten, "Five", and Ascension from Black Ops 1 are kinda scary. "Five" is scary cause it's literally claustrophobia. Kino and Ascension are kinda scary cause of where they are set
I loved playing WW2 zombies, it was a great aesthetic, the weapons felt good, the story was pretty nice considering it was just spread to that one game. You just have to separate it from the OG zombies, and you're golden.
WW2 zombies is so under appreciated in my opinion. Zombies community always begs for innovation, and the WW2 team brought their game, but we’re ridiculed. They fixed (or tried to) tons of quality of life issues that treyarch ignores or gave up on (easy point sharing, Power ups dropping behind zombies so you don’t knife into nukes, Max ammo’s filling your clip, innovative quest notebook, and jugg’s “problematic” existence) WW2 zombies might not have been perfect, but it’s a damn shame how the game (and dev’s by extension) were treated by zombies players.

I went through all the zombies modes again recently, including non 3Arc, and honestly the only one that is actually bad is Exo, all the others are really good and have a ton of fun things to them. I really like a lot about World War 2 zombies, it’s a ton of fun to revisit, especially being more blind to those than say a Black Ops Zombies map
I mean even Exo Zombies can be fun, but the EMZ's were just too much. If they weren't in the game, and the Upgrade system was better, the mode would actually be pretty good. The challenges in some maps were also a bit much, but if weapons were stronger, and you could also utilize your Exo Suit, I wouldn't mind the AI Aim Bot Soldiers lazering me, and the rescuing the survivors.
Personally I didn't like ww2 zombies it was just taking itself extremely seriously, exo wasn't as bad as everyone make it out to be,its just stupidly hard but fun.
@@rubenrosario7226 I really only think that The Final Reich is good. The Frozen Dawn looks pretty ok, but I've never personally played it(I own every other map, but it's the only Zombies DLC I've just never gotten). The Darkest Shore would be pretty ok if it had the fog cranked way down, and had a good Wonder Weapon). The Tortured Path is bad. All the survival maps are good in different ways, but still not super great.
I saw you were gonna upload this on Twitter 3 hours ago and I was literally refreshing forever and the one time I stop he uploads this is just cod logic at it’s finest
Honestly I feel like the zombies in ww2 are just underrated. The fact that you can unlock hidden characters in zombies is so cool and in general how the zombies work just entertains me like bo other call of duty has the features this call of duty had. The maps are all good but if you're bad at easter eggs or just not a high round player obviously it's boring but other than all that this games slept on hella
Been a big fan of Tim for a couple years now and was inspired to start playing customs with my friends as well! I'd appreciate any feedback and support!
I have yet to find a compelling argument against this zombies that goes into actual detail it's always just sledgehammer bad treyarch good and ItS Not aS gOoD As Bo3
Agreed. WW2 Zombies has the best gameplay and overall aesthetic out of any COD Zombies. BO 3 Zombies has 2 good maps. Shadows of Evil (a masterpiece) and The Alps (I cant pronounce the damn name). The Island maps is flat out fucking terrible. I also think nostalgia clouds a lot of people judgment. Treyarch made BO 1 zombies so when that name they're taken back. And quite frankly I dont blame them lol
Regardless of the fact that sledgehammer makes shit games ww2 zombies is really good you just have to zone yourself out from the zombies you’re always used to and treat this as a new game
Final Reich is probably one of my favorite maps in the series. It’s fun until you realize the first 15 rounds can be done with a shovel and melee booster
See, I adore being able to swing my shovel like a lightsaber. It's really stupid and you still need to avoid hordes like usual. That, and getting all those points to open up the map sooner is handy.
This zombies experience is the best zombies experience for horror fans. The easter eggs were great, the speed at which zombies could smack you was perfect. The easter eggs are amazing. The wonder weapons are awesome. I have nothing bad to say about this game tbh. Play it, it is amazing. Is really refreshing after playing bo2 for years.
I started playing WW2 Zombies today as well, and I'm having a blast with it. I think the reason most people don't like it is because it's very fast paced, and requires a completely different playing style from Treyarch Zombies. WW2 Zombies is more in line with Exo Zombies, which makes sense considering both versions were made by Sledgehammer. I've always really liked Sledgehammer's take on Zombies though, even if it's an unpopular opinion.
Whack her Bush That would explain their creativity with maps, zombie types, objectives, perks, grenade types. Raven is usually the team behind all the cool looking weapon variants and customizations. Had no idea AW Zombies was their standalone creation

I played ww2 first time going in full blind, i had some friends that told me that the game was not good, i played it, i loved it. And the contracts system makes me come back to this game everytime.
Ww2 zombies was good, for the semi-casual player, it had horror elements that zombies has not had since waw naght der untoten. Along with a mini Easter egg to unlock pack a punch, plus balanced (other than the 9 round packed rocket launcher) guns. But the vast majority of people are either super casual (they don’t want to do any Easter eggs) or the people who literally play only for the boss fight
Honestly I really like this game’s zombies. My biggest problem with the mode is TTP, but there’s no actual map I dislike. The customisation aspect is also pretty good, and I also prefer Armour over Jug.
ww2 zombies was the only zombies game mode that actually didnt give me nightmares for weeks. i played it religiously on all the DLCs too. i loved it so much
I really liked this game. The campaign was great, graphics and sounds also great, the multiplayer was decent (ruined by riot shield) and the zombies was my first go with any cod zombies and I loved it.
@@randehmarsh40689 I think they tried to focus on being scary rather than focusing on real gameplay. And no Jugg? 3 hits and an armor system? I hate it. At least they made Mule Kick a free Mod locked behind a research token.
UndertaleFan 1234 yeah. Like honestly in terms of the actual zombies, and the look of them this game nails it. But the gameplay is just boring. The characters hardly even speak, so they have no memorable or funny lines.
@@randehmarsh40689 Honestly, I don't even think the DLC is that worth it. If anything, you're getting a ton of harder maps that you paid real money for. TFR is big and not too complicated, GH is small and simple. All you need is those 2 maps.
The zombies visually looked the best in this game, like actually scary and they even spoke demonic german it was awesome, the gameplay is another story...
One thing I loved about WW2 zombies was not only the atmosphere but the use of cosmetics having to be earned & they all were unique & hard to get. It was actually a challenge to zombies players trying to get the mountaineer or the Russian Lady on the Tortured Path. I miss that since now you have to pay for cosmetics instead of doing hard challenges that tested you truly.

This is my favorite zombies game, it looks so good. The graphics are decent, the zombies look pretty terrifying, the perks are good, the wonderweapon in final reich is really fun. (My opinion of course dont hate me)
One thing I liked about WW2 zombies was that many of the guns got unique effects when PaP'd, VMG would cause zombies to explode and those effected by the blast could also explode causing a domino effect, Stinger would slow zombies down, The was an smg that would store up energy that would release a shield when you melee'd. The best ones though were the De Lisle and the blunderbuss, The Blunderbuss fired exploding shot and also upgraded your monkey bombs into a cluster bomb. The De Lisle though would shoot sniper traps, little energy darts that stick to any surface and when tripped they would shoot 4-5 zombies in their weak point and insta kill them, IIRC it even killed the wustlings (slow zombies with mace arm) in one hit up to round 40.
Honestly WW2 zombies was slept on, I liked it even at launch. Groesten Haus and Darkest shore were great and I also love the gritty aesthetic and gnarly zombies
I acctually like WW2 zombies, treyarch zombies will always be my favourit but i really like WW2 zombies and IW zombies, Exo Zombies for me doe is a big pile of trash.
Ronnie Lacher to me it’s probably the fact that, it’s the only zombies that made me feel like I was always on the defensive games like Bo3 and even bo2 to some existent after you get set up, your invincible. In this game I don’t feel that, I feel like I have to keep moving and stay active witch is good when playing a mode like this

The thing with WW2 zombies was it wasn’t too hard to get into and pound out 30 rounds and the casual Easter egg, so it made for a great sort of thing to just pick up and play if you were in the mood for it. (Plus, I liked the way the guns played and how they tried to add in legitimate horror elements)

Outbreak, Carrier and descent were good maps but yeah overall it needs A LOT OF improvement
The Shadowed Throne is cool, but not fun to play(has a decent EE, and a cool boss fight, but that's it).
The Darkest Shore would be pretty ok if it had the fog cranked way down, and had a good Wonder Weapon).
The Tortured Path is bad.
All the survival maps are good in different ways, but still not super great.
*read my name*
WWII Zombs, aside from the UI, is the most visually appealing IMO. Animations, lighting, atmosphere, etc are all so smooth.

Final Reich is my favorite map BY FAR. I'm debating rebuying the game over the store because my eye doesn't read discs anymore.
plus ww2 zombies can actually be challenging which i like
some cod maps are challenging but there either to challenge or not just there i find that the starting map and the final reich a good challenge.
The tortured path is just the survival maps in a collection, branded as one.

Just correcting you but Exo zombies was made by Raven. Sledgehammer did campaign, Multiplayer and exo survival.
@@whackherbush9709 Thank you, I actually didn't know that. I always assumed it was Sledgehammer.
Whack her Bush That would explain their creativity with maps, zombie types, objectives, perks, grenade types. Raven is usually the team behind all the cool looking weapon variants and customizations. Had no idea AW Zombies was their standalone creation
@King David Smith III I was talking about the zombies. They're extremely aggressive on low rounds compared to Treyarch Zombies.

Thank you for giving WWII zombies a chance it’s one of my favorite zombies despite all the hate I stand for my opinion in the crowd and in my opinion it’s the best
It is extremely good but bo2 zombies takes number one for me
I think its really good not as good as like bo1 or bo2 but better then pretty much every other non remaster maps for bo2 or bo3

I honestly just preferred AW thought it did so much more

Ah yes, the man, the legend himself....
Jr rizzo is also one of these entertainment cod youtubers as well!
Like his old series: A trio of DICKS!
The De Lisle though would shoot sniper traps, little energy darts that stick to any surface and when tripped they would shoot 4-5 zombies in their weak point and insta kill them, IIRC it even killed the wustlings (slow zombies with mace arm) in one hit up to round 40.
you shouldve done this with jr rizzo. hes a WWII zombies simp LMAO
