  • If you didn't know, Malaysian locals are some of the best people in the world, and they're very easy to talk to, so I decided to invite my Grab driver to eat this famous burger with me instead of eating alone. This is my favourite type of video to create. The best videos are the videos that include the locals. Enjoy.

One ringgit without cheese and egg, one thin slice of cucumber and ample chili sauce. Back in the day, even in school canteen RM1.00 a piece. Maybe in the 90s. Roti canai used to cost 50 cents (RM0.50] a piece. Maybe similar around the world due to inflation.

One thing good about Msians, most of them can speak at least two languages. Either Malay, English (sometimes broken) or a few local dialects.

heyy..the burger vendor sure seems like a supernice guy alright, but his reluctance to your suggestion that malaysia is a peaceful country was somewhat dubious. it is undoubtedly a peaceful country, for locals as well as for tourists, for the most part, any comparative stats against most countries will support that contention.

That burger guy is brimming with hatred and/or resentment and it shows 😅 Of course it's not a Malaysian invention but that very version he's selling (curry powder, black pepper, maggi stock/Worcestershire sauce, garlic water with plain old patty, covered in omelette, aka Ramly burger) is none other but Malaysia's own (in particular, the Malays', the race he's trying very hard not to give the righteous credit). May his financial issues be sorted so that he also can join his cousin, since according to him life is not peaceful here anyways.

What he meant was that hamburger is not Malaysian/Asian food but it is Western food. Hidup ni jangan penuh dengan hasad dengki, benci membenci. Buang la sifat tu. Tak payah main isu perkauman kalau kau sendiri tak sedar diri 😂

@@syafiqahmad987 It doesn't need to be said that the whole wide world knows burger is a western invention but Ramly burger in particular is ours, yet he tried to deny that specifically. Somehow McDonald's was credited for what the Malays had tried, tested, and perfected. Imagine thinking those exact combo of sauce and spices is something that the murricans first come out with 😑He also deflected every compliment that directly or indirectly goes towards the Malays, saying this country is only peaceful towards the tourists and not to everyday people like him. Combine these two bits, even a blind person would know the hostility is targeted towards a particular audience. Brush up your English more, maybe you'll be able to read between the lines better and stop fooling yourself, at least in this particular case.

@@shinachikudidnthappen..mov9196 theres no hint of bitterness in him at all. Its just your bias view being hostile already seeing a chinese guy flipping ramly. maybe check your racism at the door first?

@@jonathanleong1285 I couldn't care less of his race, or whether or not he's flipping burgers or even his bird, what i care is him erasing my race and national treasure. If you think denying Ramly burger as a Malaysian invention is a small matter, then just give up nasi lemak and bak kut teh to singkeypoh, since none of these matters to you. Lots of people got ticked off at the Malays lately for daring to use their consumer power against those that brazenly provoked them, and the way this guy acted and talked is checking all the right boxes. He talks like he's been rammed against a truck just for walking about while being Chinese. That level of hostility the Chinese is facing in Malaysia. Oh wait, that's his uncle's beloved Canada. Duh!
