Totally. This album for me represents a road trip to Oregon from central Canada. 20+ years ago. I think I bought the CD on that trip... Listened to it over and over on the way in any case.
I swear this song lives in my brain rent free. Any time someone talks about overthinking in general, I start rocking out in my head to the memories of my pastor taking our youth group to a Relient K concert and buying me a trucker hat to get all the guys to sign. It was the first item in my emo wardrobe and I STILL wear it when I’m feeling nostalgic ❤ granted, it’s mainly held together by patches and pins now…but 20 years will do that to a well loved hat 😂
I remember the day I bought this album back in 2004. I brought it home and listened to it on my CD player that had a mirror on it, then went and played night games with my friends and got blamed for throwing crab apples at the neighbor's garage. I didn't do it but they made me clean it up anyways.
I also bout this album at a Christian book store in Nc in 2004 I remember checking the album cover and being like “ that actually is true “ lol 17 year old me loved reliant K and so does 32 me
probably yes :D it really adds to the picture that they were so attentive to vocals and harmonies, really adds another level to the already S tier songs

I'm glad they made an acoustic version of this song. It's so strange how a punk song can translate so well to a slow, soft one.
