Lotta talk from a guy representing a team thats won 0 trophys after spending 700 mil and gonna have to spend another 200 mil to keep up with man city. Liverpool gutted out their midfield and kept up with the best regardless of a rebuild, injuries, ref interference, playing in all comps, etc. Its naive to think they cant build upon whats already been established, same way arsenal improved on their foundations. This is yet again wishful thinking from arsenal fans, same way they wished we were getting rid of salah last summer.

Might be a lot of talk but it's a hell of a lot of facts. And they have nothing to build on, it's been and gone. Van dijk is getting old, Trent is apparently off to Madrid (he's nowhere near as good as you think he is either), Nunez is shit, Mac Alister isn't as good as you thought he would be, Diaz is rasher than bacon, Salah doesn't care anymore. You have nothing to build off of and the only man that could build a super team from nothing is leaving at the end of the season. Suck on competing for uecl every year because your owners have tight pockets

Having said that, The reason Liverpool have been so successful in recent times even with little investment is because of Klopp.
Since he is leaving, We might actually see an Exodus happen. Van Djik, Salah even Allison.
So, its upon Slot to rebuild this team again and the success they have seen recently with buying talent is difficult to replicate. Former DOF coming back to Liverpool is a good sign though.
So, all these are difficult things to accomplish, so, thats the reason we may be allowed to doubt them becoming such a juggernaut again.
