If you visit Japan, you will find the car styling is very strange. Toyota's styling is very off to some peoples taste.

Good idea, but it kinda looks like a Prius having a migrane :/
And the infotainment system would have been impressive 4 years ago

I chuckled a little, still, I like the new design. :)

The auto park implementation here is silly. Why must the driver keep in a button. Most other manufacturers don't require this.

Range vise is it good enough for a brand new generation?

I hate to burst your bubble Nissan, but all of this technology has been out on other brands for years. The Bolt Ev still beats your range by almost 100 miles, and I'm failing to see what part of this new leaf (albeit nice), is revolutionary..

hate burst your bubble blank5115 but; "The Bolt EV has a combined EPA-rated range of 238 mi (383 km). For city driving, the EPA rated the Bolt range at 255 mi (410 km), and due to its relative high drag coefficient, its range for highway driving is 217 mi (349 km)."
      looks like you lost 100miles.

      Neo VeNoM
Bolt still has a longer range. I don't understand why they would bring something out that doesn't have an even or better range.

I was looking forward to seeing this, but I am very disappointed in the design. I much prefer the original leaf design and the interior looks just like an other car, very boring. Looks like they are trying to make the car look just like everything else on the road, shame.

Yeah, all that technology and redesign is nice! HOWEVER!! Nissan still has NOT corrected the Leaf's weak point! And that is that the charge socket is STILL located at the front of the car!! WTF??? Stats have proved 99% of slow speed accidents are nose to tail! So if a car runs into the back of the Leaf, and the Leaf hits the car in front damaging the front of the Leaf, how do you charge it? YOU CAN'T EINSTEIN!!!

The biggest problem of the Nissan today are comfortable seats! Some reviews of this new one are not optimistic… Once you try seat position from German cars those seats in Nissan feel pretty dreadful... I am still leasing Leaf from 2015 and did over 36000 miles so far - I spent some time in those - not in the show room for a few minutes… The same story was with previous Altima… New Leaf looks very attractive but because of this uncomfortable driver position I don’t think I will get another one…

Significantly better looking than the Gen 1 Leaf. In 2011 I chose a Chevy Volt over the Leaf primarily due to exterior design.

If I may respectfully make a suggestion. Would it be possible to integrate a solar panel into the car roof?

Why do people constantly suggesting putting solar cells on electric cars? The energy output would not be worth the effort and cost!
