wired keyboards with membrane are still super sleek, and this one is of super silent and fast pace typing category... the one that i love as well. for the long run, only wired ones make sense. I personally been using the same for over a decade, once plugged in, it serves without drama.

To be honest, it depends on what you’re using the second monitor for. If it’s just discord probably not you can pick up an old square monitor for 10 bucks at a thrift store albeit its not the prettiest.
I got a 100 buck pretty nice 24in monitor and it was definitely worth getting over a square monitor. Because it is less likely to break and works better for multitasking. I often put discord or Spotify on it, but will on occasion put RUclips on it while gaming if I need a tutorial or something.

fun fact i changed from my high quality membrane gaming keyboard 'cause it was always failing. Had the logitech k120 (same in the video) for 5 years and no problems so far. Just works.

For next upgrades you should get new keyboard and mouse for the keyboard I recommend the Logitech g pro x 60 light speed wireless keyboard and if your not into 60% keyboards I recommend the steelseries apex pro tkl and for mouse either the g pro x super light 2 or the model o wired or wireless take your pick but then again these are just recommendations so it is really your choice
So i recently rearranged my setup and mounted my second monitor vertically to the left side. And man i hate it. Its so unpractical. You can’t properly watch a video while gaming. Its super weird to move the mouse up and down so much. The only good thing in my Opinion is, if you are reading an article on a website, you have to scroll a lot less. But still. Its really not for me. I stick to the horizontal mount.
You are smart using that keyboard. So even if you rage quit abs break the keyboard. It wont hurt as much destroying a $500 keyboard. I use a cheap keyboard mouse too.
