This is exactly right. An unproven claim comes out and suddenly people are saying that they “aLwaYs ThOughT soMeThinG wAs Off AbOuT HiM” and pointing out clips of Woojin being rough when there are dozens of videos of the other members doing the exact same thing to each other.
Minho with his “threats”, and what about the running joke in the fandom that Hyunjin is scared of him? All the clips of Hyunjin actually _flinching_ around Minho?

Now personally, this rough behavior is one of the very few things I never liked about SKZ. Don’t get me wrong, they’re in my top 3 ult groups, but the aggressive behavior has always thrown me off a bit. Having older brothers who used to often “play wrestle”, I know just how easy it is for this “play aggression” to go too far and how easily someone could get hurt.
However, I have come to accept that that is just how SKZ operate. They all participate in it with each other: tackling each other, hitting each other, “threatening” each other...I still don’t like it that much, but every family has its quirks, I guess.
But anyway, it _really_ threw me off when this normal-for-SKZ “play aggression” suddenly became a bad thing and a “sign of abuse and bullying”...but only when it was Woojin initiating it. Any other member and it was “an accident” and they “obviously felt bad” or “they were just playing”.
I really don’t get it. What’s with the double standards?
And all this crap about the members trying to keep Jeongin away from Woojin. Okay, so why are there videos of Woojin and Jeongin cuddling while the other members were nearby and did nothing about it? Didn’t even bat an eye? What about all the times it was the other members who initiated the contact with Woojin? What about the times they all looked perfectly comfortable and happy around each other? What about the fact that Chan literally chose Woojin as a member?
I just...really don’t get it. At least stay consistent if you’re going to hate on someone and accuse them for something.
PS: I’m not saying Woojin’s innocent, but rather that the straws that antis are grasping onto trying to say that Woojin was a bully don’t really make sense in context.

There was a mistranslation in his statement that caused it the blow up, the company didn't handle it better at the beginning with their initial website but it's all cleared now. But people (TOXIC HYPOCRITICAL STAYs) don't acknwoledge their mistakes nor the evidence.

As a baby stay, I haven't seen that many Woojin clips for (annoyingly) obvious reasons, but oh my god this compilation completely exceeded my expectations of cuteness! The fatherly hug for Han! The anti-hate video is a really big exception from JYP. Kim Woojin is indirectly mentioned there. The video is about how Bang Chan's song "I hate to admit it" (lyrics) has nothing to do with the Vlive interview. Many saw the song in connection with the vlive interview ([stray kids] bangchan discusses woojin leaving on ).
The Vlive interview ([stray kids] bangchan discusses woojin leaving on ) got Kim Woojin in big trouble. After the Vlive interview ([stray kids] bangchan discusses woojin leaving on ) , shortly after, came the song from Bang Chan. Kim Woojin got even more trouble with Kim Woojin haters/anti fans and toxic STAYs .
Bang Chan asked JYP if he could make an anti hate video. Bang Chan anti hate video with Han and Changbin): Chan Confirmed "Don't Want To Acknowledge" Isn't About Woojin.
The anti-hate video didn't help. Bang Chan has made another generalized anti-hate video.

It also doesn't help, as Stray Kids had hoped. But Kim Woojin haters/anti-fans and toxic STAYs ignore the anti-hate videos as if they don't exist. Bang Chan, Changbin and Han are wasting their precious time. I thought Kim Woojin haters/anti fans and toxic STAYs respect Bang Chan, Changbin and Han.
JYP rules prohibit mentioning a ex band member names and paused band members names in interviews, VLIVES (for example Bang Chan) and on stage. Since you are not allowed to name names, but Bang Chan is supposed to make a statement, there are sometimes misunderstandings.Serious misundertandings things can happen. Sometimes you wonder which person he is talking about exactly. Sometimes you wonder what exactly he is talking about. Some of what has been said raises questions.
After the Vlive interview on , Bang Chan is not allowed to explain afterwards what it is exactly about. If he could, he would have done it right away. That would have saved Kim Woojin a lot of trouble.
Stray Kids are not allowed to talk about the interpersonal relationships of former band members. Then they would have done so immediately and saved Kim Woojin a lot of trouble.
If Stray Kids were allowed to talk about it, there would have been no Kim Woojin hate videos. Then the serious things that happened with Kim Woojin wouldn't have happened.
But Bang Chan's hands are tied. He is no longer allowed to talk about it speak. That's why Bang Chan tried anti-hate videos, which the Kim Woojin Haters/anti-fans and toxic STAY ignores. And he doesn't do it. Very easily.And he's wanted to do that before. But he didn't. He wanted to keep trying.Then decided to leave. The Kim Woojin rumours and accusations surfaced after Kim Woojin's departure. These rumours and accusations have nothing to do with JYP/ Stray Kids and Kim Woojin. Kim Woojin wasn't kicked out!

I just started stanning Stray Kids in July, and I was so sad to hear about Woojin leaving SKZ in October 2019! And then when I learned about all the drama, I did my research on it. edit: this is my random ass theory but all of the skz members had matching 2 ring necklaces when they were 9. and in the intro for in life, changbin said that ex actually wasn’t supposed to be released. if u look at the lyrics of the song it seems to talk abt messing up with a friend and my theory that ex is abt woojin. bc if u think abt it the song wasn’t meant to be released and usually when they say that it mean they aren’t supposed to say anything and they also did messed up with him pretty badly. even in the choreo for ex they have these ring necklaces but only one ring maybe it’s alluding to their ring necklaces when they were 9. sorry i needed to tell someone lol, i’ve had this theory for a while now.

here’s the thing, i.n is usually unresponsive with affection and the camera so he acts like he dislikes it and/or pushes them away most if the time, but he looked so comfortable in woojins arms in that one clip. you don’t fake that for someone bullying you. not that look they gave each other, the way the held themselves, all of it. they seemed so comfortable

Yes, Woojin had a very different persona than the rest of them, but they all got along well. Woojin is very calm, much calmer than most.

Yes, people have moments of anger and arguments, especially in the case of kpop idols - just think about how stressful it must be to them.
Anyway, all i can see is Woojin was very underrated and rather ignored in SKZ ot9 and how he has blossomed and coloured the music scene with a colour of his own.
