I'd say SuperGuns have been around since the mid-late '80s, a few TV shows used to play games using them, but commercially, you could buy them from places like Raven Games from about 1992-ish.
That's very cool versus having to have a huge cabinet. Amazing how "simple" it really is. Unrelated, but kinda, the SEGA style LI Retro shirt on Mike looks awesome.
Thanks! This is definitely a very nice way to enjoy original arcade hardware without storing gigantic arcade machines in your house. Emulation has its place of course but using the original PCBs has its own unique charm
@LIRetroGaming I bought a Mortal Kombat 4 arcade board a couple of weeks ago and an Atomic Market VGA to HDMI Jamma converter. I have a wired Console like Controller for that I play emulation arcade games on my laptop. I wanted to use my controller to play the Actual MK 4 arcade on but trying to see which if there is like a USB to Jamma Supergun for my controller. I was wondering if you guys know the which Supergun I can use for my controller or I’m better off getting a fight stick instead?
There are databases of arcade boards such as killer list of video games where you can see what the original PCBs look like. There are all sorts of groups out there that sell arcade PCBs including on eBay and Facebook. The bootlegs look very clearly different from originals in most cases

God I want one of these....
nice video but do you know if its possible to put a keyboard there? also how to configure buttons? thanks
The buttons are configured to work with Neo Geo arcade sticks. Anything that uses that same pinout will work
@@LIRetroGaming what version of supergun is that. Is the famous "V2 Super Gun JAMMA CBOX" ?
As a newbie how can I tell the difference between original pcb boards and bootleg?
And can you recommend the best places to but pcb boards from?

@@LIRetroGaming Thank you for the info 🙂👍
Wonder? Can this be used to MOD an arcade1up cab using a real Arcade PCB w/ supergun?
will i be able to use my nacon daija ps5/ps4/pc fightstick with one of these?
It depends- does it use usb? If so then you would need a converter to Neo geo for it to work
very cool
Cool
You should make an Arcade pcb rack so you could mount 100 superguns that wont take up much space.
very nice :)
