It took me watching this whole video to realize that pursuing the ability to edit a template, has nothing to do with "branding" a template. wish I knew that earlier.

Sorry for the confusion there. To my knowledge, that isn't a feature that's available, but hopefully one they add in the future.

    hello, I have a question.
I cannot see option - "save meeting as template" (4:27 min of the video)
I am an admin of the business account.

The issue may be that you have to SCHEDULE A MEETING FIRST, and then once the meeting is scheduled and saved, it will be available to be converted/saved into a template for future meetings. The meeting can be scheduled from EITHER the Zoom desktop app, or the web portal. Once saved, the meeting will appear in the WEB PORTAL under the Meetings --> Upcoming Meetings Tab. You would then need to find a click on the meeting in question, and once you are looking at the meeting's properties, scroll ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN, and in the middle, between the "Delete This Meeting" link and the Edit This Meeting/Start This Meeting buttons, will be the link to "Save as a Meeting Template".
      Hope that helps!

@@ACILearning I had this issue and contacted Zoom - the save as template does not show if you are using your personal room id - so allow for a generic room allocation and it shows, use your specified room and it does not . . . . . . no idea why though!!

Thank you for covering the topic of scheduling a meeting using a template from the desktop client. At least now I've had it confirmed that that isn't possible, I couldn't find it mentioned anywhere else.

Great presenter. More effective it video stays on topic without drifting to discuss various functions then coming back to the main topic.

    Hi!
I will like to know if It is possible to add graphic tools like, banners, logos or animations while in a zoom meeting?
    thanks

Hi! This is not something that we have tried but it appears like you can add a "watermark" into a Zoom meeting. Here is the documentation on Zoom that explains how to do so:
      support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360000921326-Custom-Live-Streaming-Watermark
In our videos, we use a video switcher that allows us to add our logo/banner to the bottom of the screen, but this is not done within Zoom.

Nice, but there is no 'Save as a Meeting Template', in my paid account (latest software update version 5.0).

Had this issue come up once before, so I'm pasting the same answer here:

@@ACILearning Thanks so much. I understood that you could actually transform any meeting (scheduled or past) into a template, so this was what it was; scheduled meetings only. Got it! Brilliant and fast feedback, - well appreciated... :)

@@ACILearning @ITProTV Have the same issue. Paid account, but I've looked everywhere. Even upcoming or past meetings in the Web Portal, there is NO option for "Save as a Meeting Template". The only option at the BOTTOM is "Delete" this meeting" on the left and on the right "Edit this Meeting" and a button for "Start this meeting". Frustrating.
I eventually figured out the meeting needs to be scheduled as RECURRING for the "save as a meeting template" to be enabled. It's a bug or that is how it is intended, with "save as a meeting templat"e only available when RECURRING meetings are added as a template. Thanks.

Can you share those templates with other users?

    • @ACILearning
      @ACILearning  4 года назад

Unfortunately you are not able to share the templates, as they are stored/saved in the web portal and are not made available for export or download. The only thing you could do would be to screen capture the settings for the template and share that with someone so that they could reproduce the template, modifying whatever settings would need to be unique, or specific to them.

I need you to cut the chase quicker. I thought this was on how to create the template. This headline is misleading.
