New video out! A look back at how King Tut did in our backyard bed late summer. We have enjoyed this area very much with the plants we placed in the bed. It’s always exciting to try new ideas with a small garden especially dealing with the challenges of the sun, shade, weather, etc... lots of ideas flowing through our minds for next season and we can’t wait. Enjoy! 💚💚💚💚💚💚
Hi I just like to say that I do thoroughly enjoy watching your videos I have been watching you since last year and I do take on board what you say because I think your very good at your job and giving good tips amazing thank you for sharing this video with us and I will see you in the next one thank you be safe you need family 😍😍❤❤
I just love y'alls videos! Everything looks beautiful. I live in zone 9b and every time I see your hydrangeas, I wish we could grow those here. I just planted oakleaf hydrangeas and I'm hoping and praying they survive the South Texas heat.
It’s a beautiful plant! It’s one we always somehow have to add to our garden. We will plant some more soon. Enjoy your king tut grass it a beautiful huge grass. 💚💚💚💚💚💚
You are such a great team, love watching you both. To think you’ve only had that garden for one year! It’s only a failure if you fail to learn from it 🤣 I look forward to seeing what you’re going to plant in your shady area next year because I need to know for mine 🤩
Hello! 😃🤗💚 So nice to see you here and thank you so much! You are so right it is only a fail if we don’t learn from it. It’s been a wonderful experience a year full of so much great knowledge. Playing catch up it’s been so busy soon I will head over to see what you are doing. Are you on Instagram? I’ve been meaning to check. Have a wonderful week! 😃💐💚
@@GardenObsessions I have a Facebook page. I only signed up to Instagram a couple of days ago and there’s hardly anything on there yet because I don’t know what I’m doing yet 🤣🤣 I need to figure it out, all those hashtags, I’m very confused 🤣🤣
I’m still confused at times on Instagram 😂. Never imagined going beyond RUclips but I have to say Instagram and FB is were I’m most at. It’s hard to make videos at times so it’s been a wonderful place to share and make friends. Hashtags help your photos get out there be seen. On your comments hashtag what you posted about. If it’s hydrangeas post #hydrangeas or #limelighthydrangea #provenwinners just an example. I do small space gardening do I use #smallgarden #inourgarden. Even how I’m feeling #happyday lol. Need any help DM me on Instagram and I’ll be glad to help. I’ve found a passion in photography as I ventured out to other social media and it’s been amazing! I’ll look you up on FB! 😃💐💚
I think king tut does better in a pot. But it will fill the pot with roots which I had a hard time removing. I’m in 5b. Your garden is beautiful 😍 and I can only hope to get mine to look close to yours.
Are you sure they are not Prince Tut, my nursery missed labeled it a couple years ago, and I was disappointed. Plus they did Butterfly Bushes the same and instead of small bushed I wanted I got the 6 foot bushes. Stay Safe till the next time. I think your garden looks so nice, glade you use it as a learning time, you can take some things with you when you move.
Hello! Thank you! Sorry you had plants mislabeled by the nursery. How I miss having butterfly bush. Our Prince tuts needed more sun it was a great experience. Stay safe too and we will have another video up soon. Have a wonderful week! 😃💐💚
Tuts act like hydrangeas, when it rains they flop. I used some bamboo stakes on tuts until the stems were woody and strong. You guys sound like you are ready for one acre of land.

I love your raised beds. I had terrible drainage issues in my garden & got some great ideas looking at your garden. Thank you both!!!

No failures only lessons! Lol Angie was right! 😆
Very pretty, just more subtle and soft. Everything looks healthy though.
I think it looks beautiful.

Yes soo true! More sun as well helps tremendously with tut grass. Hopefully we can find a place with more area to garden in. 🙏💐💚
