- Speaking on the recently released Union Budget by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, All India Trinamool Congress’ Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Sagarika Ghose launched a scathing attack on the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party. Ghose said that this Union Budget is discriminatory in nature because it categorically gives special funds to 2 states, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh, from where key candidates of NDA allies hail; the TDP led by Chandrababu Naidu and JDU led by Nitish Kumar.
