I always say that too, about Duel Links as well. But, looking back at older Yu-Gi-Oh! games, a lot of them actually had good to excellent OSTs. Ever listened to Tag Force 4 (and later)'s soundtracks? Some of those are bangers too; even random themes that only play on the map or in your house.
Real shame I haven't play any of the Tag Force game yet, due to the game not offering any English options :/ but I had take a look at some of the soundtrack and gotta say they're really good. Good to know Konami is keeping up with the tradition :)
@@RenegadeVile Don’t forget Duelist of the Roses. The tracks in that game went pretty hard too. There is even a track that has a mix of Victorian music with hip hop beats lol. YuGiOh just seems to have a history of good tracks for their video games.

My friend literally dueled me with this in the background I felt as if me deck was somehow Working with me as if it was alive as if I could feel the heart of the cards I drew exactly what I needed when I needed it and felt the power of the heart of the cards and road it to victory the music in this game seriously is amazing especially this one.

Been an MTG player for 20+ years but this is one of the things that make me grateful for starting Yu-Gi-Oh! with Master Duel. The music is phenomenal. It's a disgrace how much this knocks MtG Arena's music out of the water too. Seriously, you go over there and get a whole lot of wind chimes and ambient background music, the music doesn't swell and react to the changing fight conditions, total snoresville.
To be fair, Yu Gi Oh has a much faster pace in its gameplay where the duel goes extremely fast and they end in an average of three turns. Making music that reacts to your plays is a brilliant choice because it's almost guaranteed that something cool is going to happen ar any moment's notice. MTG gameplay is slower paced and more resource intensive.
@@Triler500i never seen a legacy mtg deck that cast counterspell on turn 0 and having 3 creature with on the field that say no to every thing you trying to do on your turn going 2nd. freaking tearalaments has to be the most powerful deck ever existed in card game history.
@@Triler500that counterspell gets negated by herald of green light send agido mill if tearalaments mill a king of the swamp that's another counterspell in grapha If they drew neko mane king then they are skipping your turn on turn 0, yes this is the only deck in card game history that capable to do this. Also mtg turn 0 counterspells are comparable to handtrap line up we have.
Ironically it would be more for decks with a Samurai or ancient Japan theme such as the super heavy Samurai, the shiranuis and of course the six samurai and more Samurai or ancient japan theme
Six Samurai are the only ones ive faced against that invest in the foreign capital scenario. EVERY other deck owner are cheap creeps who play on the default one
This song played when I fought a Sky Striker player on my very first ranking match with my starter Power of the Dragon Deck. He summons so many things and I only like.... summon one monster and place some spell/trap. But BOI, the match was weirdly intense as I single handedly counter his Decode Talker 5300 ATK with Square One and Sky Striker Kagari with Circle something and we both have like 2000 LP. I still lose in the end but its fun seeing how my opponent doing super complicated summons with this song play in the background. (PS: I think the battle took like... 8+ turns)
That sounds oddly familiar In my first ranking match, I got match-up with someone who actually brought a Starter Deck. I was kinda choking cause I haven't play YGO for a while, then finally got my Decode Talker than straight to Accesscode Talker (Since I didn't have Knightmare Unicorn yet). Did have fun tho, but forgot to save replay
This soundtrack was played when I turned the tables with 2 cards with my Blackwings. Even though I lost at the end, the experience was mind-blowing with this music.

i remember this OST going when i was in Silver 4, i decided to climb the ladder with altergeist when i end up paired against a Dark Magician player, i was down to 900Lp, and i think either the fat that they didn't outed my Altergeist protocol, or the fact that i used up all my luck, but i end up drawing the only infinite impermanance left in my deck, setting it to prepare a counter attack thanks to my multifaker in hand, and i got to use it when he Summonned Magician's Rod to add the fusion spell, which ended up with me summoning Multifaker + Kunquery (thanks to multifaker's effect) and with Kunquery negating the Eternal soul, which finally led me to the last turn, Drawing a Marionetter, sumonning it after link sumonning for Hexstia, which ended up being what saved me, as i negated eternal soul with hexstia by tributing that said marionetter, and attacking for game

This is the best battle soundtrack When I use my shiranui-mayakashi deck combos to activate my graveyard effects and at the end I blast my opponent offense with this music its epic
Lore wise it's near impossible for six Sams to beat shiranui, they are revered as gami in Japanese like katanagami and homuragami which essentially means blade god and sun god, like ain't no way a human no matter how strong he is would win against a ghost with the power of the sun itself.
Makes me want to play master duel right after I get off from gym, a true duelist knows not when to give up, just keep trying and play rank a 1,000 times only then you’ll move like water.
Literally what I was thinking it’s peaceful at first but when your back is agaisnt the wall and this kicks in it’s like hearing decadence when your losing to razor in NFSMW 2005 you hear this and magically your get just what you need at the right time and can turn the whole thing around it’s truely a epic OST one I am glad my friend found and shared to me

The duelist's eyes soften for just a moment, as they glance at a section of the walls where images of all the orichalchos' victims are, before hardening as they return to stare at Dartz while they draw a single card from their deck. "I WILL see the souls of my family released from captivity, as well as all the others you've taken. Mark my words. Now COME TO ME!" the duelist then shouts as they raise the card they drew high into the air, as light glows from it.
