I’m running full luck, been a blast and actually managed to get a match where me and my opponent were fairly even. It was hard fought for both of us, I ended up losing but I know he was having just as much fun with monarch theme on full blast
It's cool seeing the detail that went into this music. The climax themes have the sound effect that's played when you're defeated in a duel when you receive the final blow - right before your cards shatter. For me, this not only increases my anxiety, but has me hoping that the duel won't end with me receiving the final blow.
The climax is the time when your combos are coming together with no interruptions, your boss monster(s) are making their way onto the field and destruction is about to follow, and when your opponent thought they had you on the ropes you pull out the card or cards you needed to claim victory.
It’s basically designed for a 3 turn duel. First turn is the calm before the storm, you’re preparing your defenses, building up your walls, and preparing for the oncoming deluge. The keycard is your enemy mustering his forces and preparing for the charge, then leading the attack trying to crack your machinations. The climax is you, with your battered walls and bested defenses, marshal your remaining might to face your enemy with one last push. All or nothing. Now or never.
Individually, my favorites are: Battle Theme #1 Keycard Theme #3 Climax Theme #5 As a whole: all the #5 Themes But in general all the OST is amazing, incredible work by the team. I love being in the Deck Editor just because of the Soundtrack.
I have said this so many times to my friends. NETFLIX make the whole Anime of World Legacy, use these scores, dont EVEN tell the public it is or has anything to do with Yugioh...and people would literally fall in love with YGO without even knowing it lol.
5 can be heard if the opponent uses Foreign Capital duel field while 6 is currently exclusive to solo chapter I think. While 8 only plays during 2nd Stage Duelist Cup O.o
@@YGODueltainer having different music for each due field makes I’m always using the hero duel field and hardly see the foreign capital mainly just the default or World Legacy field
With the endings to most tracks and the order in which they're presented here, it's like listening to an orchestral concert. The only thing missing is applause between the songs.

These tracks are amazing. All the climax tracks take the cake for me. they are so intense and really make you feel like your in the anime having a epic battle of your own. They went out of there way to make these end of the world tracks for us fantasy lovers. Going to make some art while listening to this.

*when I first started playing yugioh*: guys 20:00 monarch theme is obviously the best one *me now as an experienced player*: you know what that keycard theme #5 at 29:09 is actually really good, I never knew how much I needed it for the amount of duels that theme has played at a right moment when the game tide turned
It always makes me laugh when climax themes are playing but I'm the one on the back foot, no monsters on my side of the field, boss enemy ready to one shot me directly, and a whole hand/backline of handtraps, counters, and quick play burn.
I'm suprised YuGiOh VG music doesn't get mentioned more like how other VG series like Sonic, LoZ or whatever series have great BGM. YuGiOh music slap since the GBA.

Because people are too cheap to invest in a duel field. Theme depends on which duel field the opponent is using. But this is Master Duel we are talking about. The majority playerbase are all meta no soul, didn't surprise me in the least to know they just use the default duel field.
@@YGODueltainer Oh I didn’t know that! I have 5-6 dual fields but rarely hear the different themes. So if both don’t have different boards from the default you’ll hear the standard theme 1? That sucks. This game is one of the best to release this year especially with the update coming soon.

For example, if your opponent is using the World Legacy Duel Field, then you will only hear theme #4, regardless of what duel field you equip. MD is weird that way. Atleast with DL, you can buy a pass to set the theme song that you want for each character.
