I'm completely fascinated by the conversation about how NFL players rarely see games as spectators. It's something that never occurred to me; but it's still pretty mind blowing to think that the only people who never have a chance to experience the full effect of attending an NFL game are the players who are making it all happen. In a way, it sounds a lot like what the Beatles described, as being in the center of the storm; and being the only four people in the world not touched by Beatlemania.
EQ's problem was trying to go out in Birmingham after the game. I was downtown and bar hopped from Paramita Sound to Queens Bar to The Skip to Standby until 2am. Every place was lit and filled with Lions fans celebrating. Trying to go out Birmingham would be like trying to go out in Wheaton after a Bears game.
EQ...if you're staying in Birmingham, obviously you're not gonna be seeing shit going on after the game 😂 That's a rich white suburb. You should've hung around in Detroit proper if you wanted to get lit after the game---like how you said hahaha
I love when they bicker because its funny sibling stuff but this episode was amazing. I loved seeing how supportive Eq is of Amon Ra. Absolutely loved this episode. Hopefully we get Eq on the lions next haha
As a someone who went to that game and plan on going to the next I really don’t think we can get any louder(we gone try though lol). But that being the first game playoff game ever in Ford Field, the vibe of that alone just made it sooooo crazy in there. A moment I’ll never forget.

I wasn't at ford field but at home I was going wild. I live on a mililtary base and my neighbors came over to see what all the screaming was about. I was crying saying Amon-Ra just sealed our fate! It means so much to so many of us!!! Love the SBB!

DETROIT VS EVERYBODY. I been a Lions season ticket holder since 1996, and I've been to every game since then. Don't remember a game being as loud as the only on Sunday was. GO LIONS!
Regarding the partying; every bar downtown was at capacity until 2am. I walked home from the stadium (live downtown) by around 12am, and each bar I walked past was still completely packed and everyone in the streets was partying to. I went out to a bar around a mile and a half up and there was still a line. Birmingham is too far out/isn't that kind of place. He needed to stay downtown to see all the people, but probably not the best idea since there were too many people out and he'd be recognized by too many drunk football fans. Royal Oak or something MIGHT have had some people out then.
