That was brilliantly explained. Even if you knew absolutely nothing about networks you could follow this tutorial. I was able to watch the whole video in one sitting because he did not race ahead and explained everything so well. Great teacher!
Thanks a lot Nicolas. You saved my life. I was having a bad time during my IT labs because I didn't understand nothing. Now all is more clear for me. Thank you, thank you thank you. Maria from Canada

Hi, at 7:44 you mentioned about explaining the theory side of IP address and the up configuration dialog box what video in your playlist do I click in order to learn the theory side of things ? Thanks .. ps great video!
Hi Nicholas, This a perfect information for beginners, I would like to know if you have a video using subnet mask (/26) 255.255.255.192 using one router and 8 ports switch.4 subnets and 62 hosts.
thank you so much , that was realy good and helpful, therefore I can't understand english very good but I could understand you'r teaching very well :) but I can't understand one thing, sometimes I send a Simple PDU, than , when the switch receives that, it sends to all PC . could you plz answer it?
I love this video but you should not be using the .1 address on a PC because that is the default address for a router. A router is usually assigned the 192.168.1.1 address.
+William McPherson You don't have to use .1 as the router address. It's just 'best practice'. Plus, he doesn't have a default gateway on this network, so it is more than fine to assign the first host as .1
You're a great teacher. Please, never stop making tutorial videos.
This guy is excellent. A great teacher. Very clear directions, easily understood. I look forward to his lessons.
