Saw them in concert in Hiroshima in 84 and 85 and have followed them for 30 years. Akira's sound has changed slightly but he's as good as ever, if anything Higuchi is sounding slightly better then the old days. They keep producing quality metal anyone who knows metal has appreciate what they have accomplished through the years staying together and continuing to produce quality tracks like this.
+Claudia Marlow I didn't know they were this heavy. Loved them in the 80's but catching up with their newer stuff and they smash it keeping up with the newer music. Love it.

I agree. It's sad that the U.S. network does not recognize him. I listened to these guys growing up in the 80s and thru the 90s as their music helped shaped my growing up years. I've always thought Akira was (and still is) an amazing guitarist - but so underrated.

It's unfortunate the drummer died two months after this. Cancer can creep up on you fast. My father died of liver cancer himself at 81 about a year after Higuchi died, and I'm here to tell you there's nothing fun nor funny about it. It's a brutal season of intense pain. It's no way for anyone to go. I'm glad he managed to lay down another musical document before he passed away, at least.
