I’m glad that Esmeralda believed Evie, she didn’t dismiss her due to the fact she’s a child like all adults do, because she knows that Evie seemed serious when she told her the truth about how Ameera actually died. And the way Edgar disrespected Esmeralda saying she’s a worthless peasant reminds me of Emilia thinking of her mother and brother as disgusting peasants as well, and both her and Edgar got upset at the end about the way they treated their family (who are peasants), but tried to ignore or push those feelings away because they’re at a higher rank and are both rulers, they really are perfect for each other.
This opinion is great, But edgar killing his own wife and seeing his own children suffer is just highly messed up. Edgar even thinks he owns the world childishly he even has a manipulative wife, emilia. I cannot believe he called his own mother a "peasant". The only people that I feel bad for in this video are Evie and Esmeralda. Esmeralda found out that her once, kind son became a monster, that she never expected to become and Evie had to witness her mother’s death, along with her brother and worst of all, Edgar didn’t even consider his children’s feelings. This proves that a villain isn’t created due to a traumatic backstory, but because power and their pride blinds them and Edgar and Emilia are prime examples of this.

I realised that history is kinda repeating itself because Edgar got Ameera killed, not by his hands, but he ordered a guard to murder her, hey may not have physically murdered her, but he is still responsible for her murder. Evangeline sent her daughter, Veronica, to kill her ex husband, Hendrickson and like with Edgar, Evangeline didn’t murder Hendrickson with her own hands, but she was still responsible for it by sending Veronica to kill him.
