For real tho, teach your sons how to fight and make this really clear: "if you have to defend yourself and fight, i will defend you from your teachers or anyone who tries to tell you "it's wrong to fight your bullies" BUT if you are the one bullying other kids, i will punish you like you have no idea" Kids need to be prepared and stand for themselves but know that there is consequences if they bully others with the skills they possess.

He is correct that girls have an easier time in schools buts it’s because the school system is formed in a way that makes it easier for the needs of girls and harder for boys. Children in general are not supposed to sit still for 6+ hours a day. But it’s much easier for a girl to sit still and concentrate than it is for a boy due to male puberty and testosterone. Boys do fairly well in elementary school before puberty but once they start entering middle school which is around the same time puberty happens, they start slipping.
