The Shadows numbering in 3 is the strength of the group (instrumental, also vocal) up to now. Their bass guitarist is interchangeable for every decade. The Beatles is no longer a group because it consists of 2. More power to The Shadows for their beautiful songs. God bless this rock band.
Although they were superb in the 60's I think their best period was 1973-77ish - Marvin, Welch, Farrar, Bennett, Tarney. Rockin' with Curly Leads, Specs Appeal, Tasty. Post Apache, post Cliff, post MWF, pre let's do an instrumental of everyone elses' stuff.
Hank and his 1958 Strat is the nearest thing to God. I am British but, if he hailed from another Country I will still love him. I play the Shads and I step back in times of 1958. Thank you so much for your wonderful Music Hank and the incomparable SHADOWS. God bless.
Questo DVD , il mio preferito , della musica degli Shadows , un vero show , i brani in sequenza sono bene distribuiti , con la musica e del performance di Cliff Richard . A lunga vita è questo gruppo Fantastico !🤞💞🎶🎸 The Shadows Forever 💓 Da Irene ungherese 🇭🇺
That's art. Not like the commercial brand stuff you see today. I was captured by the drumming and of course the one and only sound of Hank Marvin. I like the original but this was right alongside it. Awesome Shadows you'll always have it.
Brian Bennett one of the best drummers back then and still is today. A good composer too of many of the songs by the Shadows and in his own right with his own band.
This acoustic guitar playing is totally breathtaking and unbeatable

Hanks smile the best adds to his performance.

You'll find it was a '59 Strat that Cliff bought for Hank to play. It was first used by Hank on the recording of Living Doll in 1959.
This was the first record my late father bought when we had a Phillips record player in 1962,brings back many memories.
Cool.I was in the audience.Loved every minute.
Brian Bennett fantastic drums playing. His drums contribute a lot to background sound.

Hank Marvin the Grand Master of his trade. Fantastic.
