How to change font type and size in the table inserted in Cad from excell

You can change the font type and size in any table, regardless if it's inserted from Excel. This can be done by selecting one or more cells, opening Properties (Right-Click anywhere and select "Properties"), and scrolling down until you see "Text Height". To change the Font, you'll need to unlock a cell. This is done by selecting the cell, finding the "Cell Format" panel in the Ribbon, clicking on "Cell Locking", and changing it to "Unlocked". Then, you can select the text itself and change its font just like changing the font for MText (Double-click on the text, highlight it, and find the Font in the "Formatting" panel in the Ribbon).

How could I export an AutoCAD table to Excel and link it, in the same way that the Excel table is linked to AutoCAD, making the changes bilateral from one table to another ? I would like to make it functional from a genuine AutoCAD table to Excel, and what I know is that I can export an AutoCAD table to Excel, but it will only be values.

You can change the data in an AutoCAD table and right-click on it to select “Write Data Links to External Source”. This will update the data in Excel that’s already been linked. This is the inverse of “Update Table Data Links”.

@@DigitalDraftingSystems What you are suggesting is to change the data with an Excel table inserted into AutoCAD and mutually linked; I want to take my tables created with AutoCAD table tools and pass them into Excel with text and functional equations, not as is done with csv text export. It is to insert a native AutoCAD table into Excel.

We don’t think that a native AutoCAD table can be inserted into an Excel spreadsheet as an XML or CSV file. Using the “Update Table Data Links” function alongside “Write Data Links to External Source” are the methods we use to link equations and formulas into Excel and AutoCAD. If this isn’t working for you, then a script found online may help.
