I wish I could gel print layers on the plate but Florida weather does Not dry the paint quickly. Great prints Shel, love the neon paints.

I love watching any of your art processes! You are so talented. I've become a little obsessed with gel printing and am quickly accumulating a huge pile of prints. My next challenge is to experiment with collage. However, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with all of these papers. Organizing them would help, but how? By color (most have more than one), stencil, topic, etc.. Have you ever done a video addressing this subject? Do you know of any such videos? Any advice you could offer would be appreciated immensely. Thank for sharing your art abilities.
Gel printing is a huge obsession of mine and I have TONS of painty paper. Yes, I organize mine by color. If the piece has multiple colors I put it with the color that is most used. I have used various methods for storage. I started with hanging folders in one of those plastic crates designed to hold them. But then I had lots of tiny pieces...so I started sorting those into reused plastic boxes with lids that mini cinnamon rolls came in. My Mom saved them for me as she loves those little rolls. My current method uses a bakers rack (open metal shelf) in my studio. I have plastic baskets from the dollar store. A bigger one for the full sheets and a smaller one for the bits. I stack the small one on top of the bigger one and then stack them onto the open shelving. I have a color coded tag and ribbon tied to the front edge so I can see the color. If you watch some of my more recently collage videos you will see the baskets come out. It is working really well for me.

It's good to know I haven't gone over the edge. Not sure how anyone could try using the gel plate and not be hooked!
