The Enfield is the current zenith of the 650-c.c. twin, air cooled motorcycle with its six-speed transmission. I remember the Triumph Road Racing motorcycles of 1967-69.
Be interesting to see this done on an older model Enfield; they didn't have flip up pegs, it was just a metal bar shoved through the frame. You'd lean too far and suddenly have the experience of cornering on one wheel and a foot peg.

Enjoyed your video, and that’s saying something as I’m not easily amused. At the end you talk about better tires and more power. The RE Interceptor is not race material, it’s a simple cruiser. You would need to at the least need to have a RE GT , with the S&S 865cc kit, modified head to match, new stage 2 cam, new free flow exhaust, new dna air filter or eliminate the air box completely, and install better big air filters. new ECU with mapping capability. New sticky tires, new upgraded front and rear shocks. Remove the center stand and side stand. Then 4,000 usd later you will have a bike maybe as good as your friend’s Suzuki sv650. The Royal Enfield is just nice beginner bikes and for older riders that don’t need to go over 110mph. But I’m very impressed with how well you did with the stock RE Interceptor. The GT foot peg support plates , rear brake , and arm mount, shift levers will work on the interceptor. But best to just get a GT if your going to do all that.
You def need better tyres, change the rear wheel from 18in to 17in, get some 150/60, or even 160/60 r17, you def need to change the front sprocket to 14teeth, s&s race exhaust, k&n air filter with stage 2 air filter cover, and get some clip-on action for goodness’ sake. Looking forward to your next RE track day video! Keep watchin yammie noooob!
I drag metal everywhere on my Enfield Interceptor on mountain roads that are 30-40 mph speed limits. 40 wheezing HP at the rear wheel isn't much but it's a hoot to ride a 60's British bike without the 60's British bike problems

I was definitely entertained! Thanks for that.
this is why sometimes it's fun to race with slow bikes coz you really squeezing the last amount of it's capabilities. super awesome
Next up on YN. Trying to fly in a submarine.
There is a bore kit for royal enfield that increases its HP to 65
Why not just buy a 65hp bike? That way, you'll bet the brakes and suspension to match.
@@davidbesant cos it’s not an enfield … simple answer n everyone don’t have to have the same taste as u
Hahaha “Man, he is really taking me to Gapplebee’s” made me really chuckle
Great content Yammie. That was fun.
Will do 👍🏾
I felt like this at Cadwell on my SV when 180hp litre bikes came past.
RE lack of cornering clearance but that was epic race against sb650 🤣🤣
Be interesting to see this done on an older model Enfield; they didn't have flip up pegs, it was just a metal bar shoved through the frame. You'd lean too far and suddenly have the experience of cornering on one wheel and a foot peg.
Not sure if your scraping pegs or the centre stand?
Blood funny
this is a great what if video. you always think what if about the motorcycle you buy and that what if is taking it to a race track. i know you guys were disappointed with th adv stuff but you really seem to shine with the content in this video
Rearsets and handle from gt650, better rims and tyres, filter, Ecu remap, 2x1 exhaust should do the trick. I say buying a RE 650 is like buying an blank canvas to work on.
and after you spend all that time and money it will still be a POS 💩💩
@@wanabetruckerdave3776 obviously it is not made to do track. It’s like asking you to do twisties with your truck. In that regard the truck will feel like a PoS, even if it isn’t.
@@Thegeekishnerd13 we arent talking about trucks, we are talking about bikes, spend the time and money on that bike and ll you'll have is a gloried moped
@@wanabetruckerdave3776 if that’s what your opinion is, I feel sad for you. Bikes are so much more than the sum of its parts.
And it’s not about the Royal Enfield.
I think what would be more interesting is the Rocket 3 out there ...
Hey, check out gt cup, it's a race event conducted by Enfield with slight modifications of road going continental gt650
But how much fun did he have.. laughing and riding.. so much fun..
Yes absolutely do a little track build/upgrade on that Royal Enfield!
been following this royal enfield for the memes and its been oddly satisfying. good video
most fun track video in long time, cant wait for part 2 hehe
My Interceptor is in the corner crying now...thanks, Yammie. Jeeez. lol
that's why he is yammie "NOOB"
You def need better tyres, change the rear wheel from 18in to 17in, get some 150/60, or even 160/60 r17, you def need to change the front sprocket to 14teeth, s&s race exhaust, k&n air filter with stage 2 air filter cover, and get some clip-on action for goodness’ sake. Looking forward to your next RE track day video! Keep watchin yammie noooob!
Try riding a busa here in india then we will see how much you miss the RE. Bro 🤣🤣🫡
I drag metal everywhere on my Enfield Interceptor on mountain roads that are 30-40 mph speed limits. 40 wheezing HP at the rear wheel isn't much but it's a hoot to ride a 60's British bike without the 60's British bike problems
Don’t forget to chat to the guys in the UK who build big bore kits and camshafts for those engines as well? More power would definitely be beneficial.
I have one and I thought this was hilarious. It’s not what the bike is made for, but it’s still funny.
Okay I will take an harley on our typical indain roads and lets see how long it can survive😂
What a great video! Owner of a Int650, and in the past a 1st gen SV
