- Heavily regulated track session (no overtaking, had to follow the leader etc.) Literally had the slowest bike of the day. Could easily keep up in the corners but was absolutely obliterated on the straights.

What memories do you have of this bike? I would like to buy one because I like the idea of having a comfortable motard. The engine is very reliable (yamaha) and the chassis is neat.
I had the Strada 660 and it was amazing. I only sold it as I was changing jobs and needed a bike to survive on the motorway every day. It did everything else perfectly. Best real world bike I had.
Hey ik zit al een super lange tijd te zoeken naar een nette xt660. Vandaag kwam ik erachter dat Aprillia dezelfde motorblokken gebruiken. en de motoren zijn een beetje goedkoper. maar op internet zie ik er weinig rond in Nederland. is er iemand met ervaring met het kopen uit het buiteland zoals bijv Italie? ik heb wel een leuke road trip ervoor over :) Ben benieuwd hoeveel ik dan in totaal kwijt zou zijn aan zo een motor incl invoeren. dit wordt mijn eerste motor moet nog voor avd a2 gaan. Nice track session. I have the Strada too, and it really strikes me how underappreciated it is, and how few people know of it. Compared to the 300cc Ninja and 500cc CBR500R, this is lighter an more powerful than both, and is incredibly fun to ride around on! Have been dailying it for a year now, and though I will look into getting a bigger bike next year, the Pegaso is truly a gem.
Agreed 100%! I think it's the torque amount that makes it more fun. I'm finally allowed to ride bikes with more than 35kw this summer. I want to get a KTM 990 SMT but they are not cheap.
uhhh that sounds sweet, hope you can afford one! I am also able to upgrade my license in a week, but I am waiting for a friend to take it together, and then I am looking into Honda's CBR 650F. Just something about its looks and engine that fits my needs perfectly.

That looked very tame for a track day tbh. No one seemed to be trying to go very fast. I have a strada myself. Best thing about it is the torque and sound with twin arrows and no baffles in. Sounds great. I like the looks too and how rare it is. Only seen others on owners meets.

I'm really curious myself... I've tried sport profile tyres on my strada.... Really bad handling... Changed back to Michelin pilot road.

Yes, for the Factory version it’s standard. I don’t know. I don’t have the bike anymore.
